Brilliant comment wanted to share with you from BBC about Mourinho and Klopps man management style:

When Andy Robertson joined Liverpool Luke Shaw was a recognised international left back. A really good player who had suffered a bad injury but is now fit. Shaw and Robertson are a similar age and of similar quality. As a result of their respective managers' input one looks world class and the other is being publicly ridiculed.

Really don't blame Jose in this instance, Shaw's been here for 4 years and still hasn't kicked on, has had 5 managers question his work-ethic and commitment and whenever he plays he looks overweight, maybe if he had the same mentality as Robertson he'd be in our team a lot more. He's on £100k a week fgs, least he can do is make sure he's not fat, simply his own fault.

{Ed001's Note - publicly humiliating someone who clearly has a problem is not the way to deal with it though. It is obvious the lad needs help not abuse. Robertson was bombed out as a kid, but it was a private thing and so he was able to deal with it and rebuild a career. Shaw has been publicly exposed to ridicule how is that not Jose's fault when he is the one ridiculing the lad??

I agree that Shaw clearly needs to get fit, but there are many ways to handle it and this is not the right way. He is just a scapegoat to be blamed for any other problems.}

Ed1 exactly my point. Jose has Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) - a personality disorder in which there is a long-term pattern of abnormal behavior characterized by exaggerated feelings of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a lack of understanding of others' feelings.

Scholes, I love your posts BUT please, you will lose whatever credibility you have gained by defending such a classless man in Mou, regarding this Luke Shaw issue. Mou has destroyed that kid and he may never get his mojo back. Luuke Shaw was destined for greatness since his teens and I remember as an 18 yr old at Saints, where he was just clowning guys on the pitch in the PL cos his ability was tremendous. He moved to Utd for a pot of gold and all went south esp. after he broke his leg in the CL vs PSV. The kid needed help.

Sadly, up stepped Mou who destroyed the guy and on several shameless occassions, would blame him for whatever bad results Utd had in games Shaw played in, just to deflect from his own apparent failures. Sorry but on this point, Mou is a pathetic coward and an opportunist, blaming publicly a kid for his own failures. He is still doing that till this day esp. after Seville, blaming the club for him not winning a game he tried to win by actually, not trying to score a goal. Klopp has shown that he is more adept at these things than Mou cos he knows how to use the carrot and the stick when appropriate. You can defend Mou on other issues legitimately BUT on this point, you are wrong, my friend.

Robertson does not look world class. He has improved and is doing well at the minute but let's not go OTT with the praise. Always better to be level headed if a player is playing well or horribly instead of this hyperbolic comments we tend to see in my opinion.

Fair do's Ed001 and BRover. Both Shaw and Jose need to take responsibility in all fairness but i can't see Shaw at the club come next season.

This is why Mourinho is hated by so many. He regularly shows that narcissistic megalomania that has, frankly, become really old insignificant news now. He is consistently blaming players (the list is long from Chelsea, to Real Madrid to Inter to ManU), referees, the media, and the fans. He even goes after ballboys and his own medical staff. He is the ultimate bully, who uses his position to talk people down and see things his way. His recent performances in press conferences are another reminder of all this, and I have no idea how the top brass at ManU are able to tolerate the gradual destruction of image and reputation of that club, on and off the field, brought on by this man. I bet you anything that LFC fans would go after Klopp viciously if he ever dared to answer a question about a loss with "what's the big, deal? It's happened before, and even I, with 3 other teams have defeated this club before". Good God, man! The club has been sent out of Europe's most important competition (by a lesser perceived club) and the manager is talking about his personal accomplishments, against his own club, with other teams! What hapened to loyalty and respect for the team that's paying you a hefty paycheck every week?

I think the organization, the players and the fans at ManU have conditioned themselves to accept Mourinho, simply because he's offered them a higher league position and one European trophy (which he never wanted) . Actually it's the money that he's spent that has gotten them this. It usually takes 2-3 years for a club to realize this (Chelsea did it twice) . And it will happen at ManU too. Mourinho is completely consistent in this.

Shaw just looks so unfit whenever i watch him play. He's looked a bit overweight for a while now. Jose doesn't help the kid though.

United have completely lost it, you as a club just have a mentality now to spend and spend and spend. It's a bit embarrassing really, i rate Rashford so much more the lukaku, yet you spent 75m and probably only got that price because you offloaded Rooney the other way, and considering he's your main man performed poorly, where as rashy was playing so well at the end of LVG and in come mou and given loads of money and i feel you just stunted his career, he's getting game time now. Albeit a bit late on i think.

Honestly i felt you should have kept LVG, you all wanted Mou, I didn't see any United fans back then saying oh not sure about Mou and now all of you have turned on him. Meanwhile every other set of fans knew this would happen. He's played boring tactics for years, and it seems his fuse is getting shorter and he bottles it. Degea is the sole reason you have coped and got results the last few years. He steps up every time he is needed. The amount of worldies he pulls off so you can win 1-0 is unreal. You have done well to keep him so long! I don't think you will ever get back to the dominance you had, especially if you just keep trying to buy players rather than develop them. Look at Liverpool a lot of the players who came here weren't at the level they are now. Fergie had a talented group of younger lads, Scholes, Beckham etc but he knew how to get the best out of them. Even Ronaldo, bags of talent but he worked hard and fergie got the best out of him, you wouldn't even try that now, just want the finished product like Sanchez and look how that is turning out mate.

Ra1969, had Klopp made those cowardly, pathetic statements Mou made after the Seville loss, I would be asking for his head on a platter the very next morning OR I would ask that he undergo a psyche evaluation cos I would be thinking Klopp has lost the plot, completely.
