I think grujic will return next season as a holding midfielder which he playing at Cardiff with great reviews and watching butland can't help but think he is a English version of mignolet.

Colin W has done a great job with Grujic. Credit to him. Karius looks miles better than Butland. I’m now of the opinion that we don’t need a first choice as Karius is that man. We need an experienced decent back up.

Grujic has impressed in some areas. He has been Cardiffs destroyer breaking up play excellently and winning a ridiculous number of aerial battles. But his passing has been atrocious at Cardiff, I still rate him he has something about him but seriously I know its Cardiff and he's not asked to retain possession the same way but its bad. Still needs to improve before I see him dislodging another of our midfielders.

I've watched Grujic live in 6 or 7 games down here in Cardiff and he's looked like an average championship player. Well off the pace in the Man City beating and average with the ball at his feet in the league. Will really need to improve hugely if he's to become a Liverpool 1st teamer and the player plenty of fans seem to think he is. A long long way to go for Grujic - can't see it myself but he's still young i suppose.

Interesting Dazza - to be fair to the lad he’s had near zero game time since his move from a very different league competition wise. Feels like he has some way to go but hopefully he has the talent and youth on his side.

I’d love for Cardiff to be promoted and for him to get another season with them in the PL. 18 months of competitive football should do wonders for him before deciding if he has what it takes to return.

Grujic to me is still like a lesser version of shelve. Can play some amazing eye catching passes but he is always one moment away from a red card due to his lack of positional sense and athletic ability. I hope he proves me wrong as he is still young but I'm afraid I can't see it right now.
