Not too bothered about drawing City, there are no easy games at this stage and we are more than capable of beating them over 2 legs. We've been their bogey team over the past few years.

However, the thing that annoys me the most is that we will have just 48h of rest between the Merseyside Derby at Goodison and the 2nd leg at the Etihad. City will have 3 days of rest between the Manchester Derby and the 2nd leg (both at home) .

Do we rotate/ rest players against Everton or play our first XI for both games and risk injuries/ fatigue? We can't afford to drop points in the race for Top 4 but the 2nd leg of Champions League quarterfinal should always be the priority.

At this stage, you get who you get and go out there and play your hearts out, end of. If you wanna be the best, you got to beat the best. No ifs or buts about it. This is why Klopp came here and why VVD and Keita came here and why other players will wanna come here.

We are back in the big leagues now and this is not the time to shrink. This is the time to rise up, be brave and courageous and thank heavens, we have a manager who is proven in Europe in kicking ass and taking names. We go out there, leave it all out on the pitch wit NO REGRETS. Exciting times, guys and gals. Let's Go!

Derby been moved to the Saturday now . not the draw I wanted but it's cup football now . We know we can beat them but we're well aware they can beat us too, hope we can do it but I'm nowhere near confident about it 🤞.
