To all the Ed's does it make you laugh one defeat and these critics already telling to drop players and such and such is not good enough. Don't they remember Stevie Gerrard getting tour apart by Keane or Veirra and he learnt from them. If a young player cannot learn from just winning every game.

{Ed001's Note - people have no patience, they are all too busy jumping on to social media to give a knee jerk reaction. Players have off days, particularly young players.}

Kop69, this is the world we live in now. when i was young we use to sit and talk with fans of other teams and ours and discuss the game. right now everyone jumps on thier devices and start talking crap, they have thier monitors/ screens to shield them. If a player has a good game he is "world class" and if he has a bad game he is "shit", this is the mentality. we as fans should not treat our young players this way, there is more chance of dissappointment than pleasure.
My biggest problem with LFC fans is that one good game we have and we can beat anyone in europe and one bad game we are doomed to finish 7th. like before the game everyone was saying we were going to smash Utd, no we are not, people should talk sensible, respect our opponents and learn that as football fans we all have good days and bad so let's not talk crap as it will come and bit us on the backside.
having confidence in our team is great but as LFC fan i have learned one thing as soon as we open our mouth that we will win a trophy or smash other team more often than not we lose.

Sorry, but Milner is patently not good enough to play centre midfield against top class opposition. That’s been proven time and time again. As it was at the weekend.

Degan Lovren who signed a 5 year contract is no longer a young player. Southampton robbed us over the years selling dross to us at inflated prices. Lallana, Lovren, Clyne. None of them would get into a top 4 team!
TAA or any youngster need a mentor in the position he plays . unfortunately we don’t have a senior established RB.

You are right Crazy, The arrogance we show at times when we win is sickening. UTD were called stoke city plus cash 24 hours ago! We only had to beat DDG and everything was fine! We don’t respect opponents!

That's rubbish frankly. He has been at his best in the champions league. The clue is in the name.

I have nothing negative to say about TAA. But Klopp on the other hand has had a complete nightmare. From the moment he picked the team v Porto to how he was out thought by Mourinho. Just the basic things he got wrong all week.

Why does Henderson play v Porto?
Why does he not set up the defence properly especially for the first 20 minutes. Everyone could see after 10 minutes what Man U game plan was but he never changes things until its too late.
Took Ox off instead of Milner or Can when we are chasing the game.

Klopp has had a terrible week hopefully he will learn lessons and improve.

your so right Mark, we all know that Hendo can't play two games a week, we were five goals up V Porto, game at home, so why risk Hendo, and then know that he would not play V United, and we were set up all wrong from the off, should have had Lukaku marked for the kick outs from De Gea,
TAA should have had more support, they tried to target Robbo too, but he again proved his critics wrong,
Robbo is right on track to being a top defender for us, he has nailed down that left back spot .

@Mark08 - to address your points about Klopp:

1) Why play Henderson vs Porto? I have no idea, a strange decision.

2) Why not set the defence up properly? I think he did, the defence simply had a brain fart, panicked, and found themselves 2-0 down before really getting settled. It is a defensive issue but not really Klopp's fault more the personnel.

3) He never changes things before it's too late, why? The second half was completely different to the first and it was clear that Klopp had changed the strategy as it was wave after wave of (albeit ineffective) attack. I think trying to be cautious in the first half was the problem and it allowed United to better implement their game plan without worrying about us too much.

4) Why was Oxlaide-Chamberlain substituted instead of Can/ Milner? Oxlaide-Chamberlain was woeful all game, constantly ran into United players, failed to distribute the ball properly, failed to really tackle or offer a presence in midfield and was deservedly subbed off. Can and Milner were not much better but Can at least offered a physicality and presence in midfield (which in my opinion he should of used more of) and Milner was, if nothing else (and there was little else), more reliable in terms of his passing. Still cannot understand why he takes right sided corners though, his are, by and large, dreadful.

How is lallana "dross" bd? You have a short memory dude or did you only start watching football this season. He is fighting for fitness but is one of our better players.

Seano - changing it at half time was about 40 minutes too late. I don't think the defence or midfield were set up correctly. The should be compact but TAA got dragged out all first half to the wing. He followed Rashford. I would think a Klopp tactic.

Like who is is he better than Supersalah? He is no winger and would never get anywhere close to Mane or Salah! He has no place in the midfield either. He has been replaced by AOC already!

Baby Driver. He's a midfielder exactly where he played and where he was brilliant before he got injured. He was our best player before then. He will be a huge addition to the team when he gets his sharpness back.
I hate this who is he better than, yes obviously some players are better than others but lallana and ox for example can both be starters for this team. They can both be good at the same time. They are just very different players that can offer different things.

The trouble is people picking on individuals we win as a team and we lose as a team it wasn't a good performance overall but not one player is to blame and stop whining about 4 the or 5th we can still finish 2nd and that is our target YNWA.

Klopp,
You are going to be extreamly disappointed come aummer mate! Lallana is playing for his future and when Keita and one more CM joins he is off! He should have been gone last summer! We can only play 3 CM, One is Kieta, one is Hendo and the third is most probably a replacement for Coutinho!

{Ed033's Note - The first thing Klopp does every Monday morning is come on here looking for advice. :)

He hasn't been replaced he's been injured. I'm sure you understand the difference. Do you not think he was one of our best players last season?

That's to BD. He can and will get into that front 3, they can't play every game. But he is better in midfield imo. Of you don't know how good Adam lallana is then I can't help you. I bet he goes to Russia, even though he has had an injury riddled season. Every England manager picks him.

Ed033

He might need a few on how to tackle long ball and direct football, how to use width and stop squeezing through the middle everytime, how to play actual CM and not hard core runners in the middle!

{Ed033's Note - Klopp isn't perfect. When are you getting your coaching badges, Baby Driver?
