Just my opinion (and I know damn all) but I think Jose will have Utd play high diagonal ball down on top of our full backs on Saturday. I would fear for us if they do.

I wonder if Klopp would ever go into / change for a back three, ideally say VVD and Gomez either side of Lovren?

If they are anywhere near as bad in the first half as the palace game, they will be 5-0 down by half time anyway.

United will seriously raise their game against us and I agree, the diagonal balls or a bit of a bone of contention for us!

You can see United sitting deep, trying to hit us on the break, with a diagonal ball, especially if one of our full backs is out of position or in attacking mode.

I don't think he'll adopt that tactic. The only player they have capable of winning those type of balls is Lukaku. It's only a viable tactic for him when Felliani plays and he can pull onto the fullback. Out wide they will have Sanchez, Martial/ Rashford/ Mata/ Lingaard, all small players, so I don't see the diagonal ball being an option for them.

A more central long ball will be an option later in the game though as they'll look to feed off Lukaku and run out of ideas.

He may well look to attack the space vacated by our fullbacks though with the pace he has out wide, that would worry me more.

I think VVD and Lovren will handle Lukaku and any long balls, I think the major test will be Sanchez against our RB, whoever plays there, and whether Pogba has a decent game.

I reckon we’ll go with Hendo, Milner and Ox and try swarm them in midfield. If we can cut quality deliveries to Sanchez and Lukaku, I fancy our chances. Barring De Gea in goal, we should have a good shot of scoring a couple.

I’m going for a 2-1 win please lads!

I agree with Hendo milner and ox but wouldn't be surprised if can played. They will definitely play high balls to lukaku and I think Vvd height will win out. I reckon he will play matip but I hope not. I'd pick lovren. And I think its pretty clear that he will go with gomez at rb. Maybe even Clyne if he is fit. I don't see him putting trent up against sanchez.

I reckon VVD will have lukaku in the pocket tbh. I hope we give them a bashing. YNWA.

If he puts Clyne in to this game for his very first match of this season Supersalah then that will prove that Jurgen is a lunatic.

I know Johnny. It will be gomez. He always plays gomez there against tough opposition. I only say clyne as defensively he is probably a bit better than trent.

SS, Clyne is poor in both phases, which is why Klopp wants rid. As for a back 3, why would Klopp suddenly change from a back 4 which has been great and have churn out results of late? That does not make sense, really. Stay with what you know and what has gotten us here and back your team and players and tactics to get it done instead of allowing the opposition to dictate the way you play. Klopp backed his tactics and players vs City and we pasted them 4-1 before we allowed them two freebies.

I say, go with what you know and what you re sure that works esp. in midfield where I would pick Hendo, Can and Ox. Hendo is better defensively. Can is a beast on his day and can match Pogba step for step while Ox gives the CM pace, power and energy, something Utd don't have.

You could say you fear for us but I fear for United. Bobby, Salah and Mane will tear their defence to shreds.
