We beat city and then lose to Swansea and baggies.

My fear is that we are 1 injuryan away from losing confidence. We need to keep the front 3 and vvd fit to have any chance.

Even if we don't win it, our style has endured us to many and will help us to get the players we want going forward.

Why would ypu not want to play for us under klopp.

Because not everyone supports our club.

Which one injury is going to derail our season? If any of our players get injured, I think we have enough to cope. Klopp is paid to make tough decisions and adjust tactics to suit what he has.

If Salah got injured, he could just put Ings up front with Firmino. He might start scoring with some proper game time.

If Firmino got injured, i'd just put Solanke in for him as he is equally good at holding up the ball for Mane and Salah to feed off. He's not as creative or clinical, but he'll do a job.

If Mane got injured, we could literally just put Chamberlain on the left wing.

Our midfield and defence have rotated all season anyway so no worries there at all.

Only real concern is probably Karius because if he got injured, Mignolet would play and he can cost you games single handedly. Keepers rarely ever get injured though (touches wood frantically) .

I'm not saying an injury won't make us weaker, but it won't kill our entire season in my opinion.

Just like when Coutinho left our whole team would fall apart?
We are not reliant on one player.

Exactly Mikey. We've got a very big squad. Ings reckons he can play anywhere across the front 3 according to his interview on the club website this morning, and he's always looked good coming off the bench. If he got regular starts in our best team, I'd back him to start adding goals to his performances. He gets into scoring positions for sure.

Watching last night, we are definately a better team with Salah. We looked so much more dangerous. We aren’t a one man team by any stretch, but we would miss him mire than any other player IMO. Even Bobby, who I rate very highly.

You're the first one to say that here Nick, i 100% agree with you but Bobby Firmino is number 1 here ^^.

He is not the first to say it. Salah is our best player, the match winner the points scorer. Without Salah we would not nearly be as effective. He did more in 15 mins than Firmino did in 75 mins.

Salah has as many league goals as all our other attacking players put together. Give Salah the credit he deserves.

{Ed025's Note - i agree mark..

Salah is number 1 for me markp08,i agree completely with you! it's nearly all posters here who say Firmino is number 1 mate, weren't you here last week for the debate? :) I don't they will realize what Salah is before he is gone!

Each to their own opinions.

The who is better out of Firmino/ Salah debate is a great debate and we should feel lucky we can actually debate such a topic having two players of that calibre part of our team.

I love Salah, he's absolutely outstanding and knows where the goal is, he makes a huge difference been on the pitch but Firmino just has it all, he's the better player in my opinion, not by much but he's ahead of Salah for me, the lad is something special.

Again though, both are fantastic players, I won't call anybody wrong for saying they believe Salah is the better player, each to their own.

Firmino is a very good all round player, but Salah is a lot more effective. Sometimes firmino plays 90 minutes and doesn't have a shot (like Tuesday night) . Other teams are scared of Salah he makes things happen.

You ask all other premier league managers who would they want Firmino or Salah Everyone Everyone says Salah.

If Salah had Bobbys first touch, he would be world class, I really rate Bobby, but this is Salahs 1st season with us, and he is only going to get better, he should get 40 goals this season, how good is that .

Salah has a better first touch than Bobby. Did you not see the match on Tuesday? His first touch of the game was world class.

Different players, so it's hard to compare, you could argue would salah have scored as many as he had without Firmino playing a part in a lot of goals. But then Salah has scored some great individual goals.

Both of them are class and hopefully we won't have one without the other!

Mo salah is world class, no doubt, so is Firmino, mane on top form is also world class. We can handle an injury up front, we can handle a couple of injuries in midfield and same with defence. Would hate to lose Vvd to injury though. I actually think the two we need fit are Firmino and van dyke. Also Hendo to a slightly less extent. We have Aoc and Adam lallana, solanke and ing who could all come in and do a job up front.

{Ed025's Note - if you lose salah to injury mate it will go tits up believe me, bobbys good and mane as well but the egyptian fella is the focal point of that attack, nothing you can bring in is going to do half of what mo brings so keep your fingers crossed..

Yeah I get you ed25 and you're probably right. Firmino can't do it on his own, he thrives on movement around him. I feel we have other players, especially Aoc and lallana who can create that movement, Aoc has the pace too. Salah also relies on others to find him. Quite often with salah, apart from spurs where he dribbled past 3 of them, it is that he is in the right place at the right time, quite often he is left with an easy finish. Don't get me wrong, I know the 2 I spoke of are no way going to be as prolific as salah but we were battering teams last season with no coutinio and the same team we have now bar origi. Aoc would score as many as origi if he was up front, so I don't think it's the end of the world if he did get injured. Wouldn't put it past smalling to stamp on his foot. It would be a tragedy if he got injured but I still think we would score, mane would step up. Like he did last year.

{Ed025's Note - i hope salah stays fit for you mate but think he is imperative to liverpool finishing second..

The best thing about this thread is when MK said that his biggest injury worry is if Karius got injured. Just Wow! $ months ago, many thought Migs was better than him (where one would get that notion from, I will never know) now, we cannot afford to lose him. Now, that's what I call change.
