What's your thoughts on this year being the best chance for an English side to win champions league in recent years? With the likes of Madrid, Barca, Juve and Bayern all seemingly not at their best this season compared to previous years. If I personally had to choose a team to avoid in the next though it would be Madrid, so poor domestically but fully turn up when it matters in the champions league however with me probably being far too optimistic here lol I do feel honestly with everyone fit we can go all the way with our fire power up front.

Liverpool V Juventus in the final! - a few months ago I'd of thought it'd be impossible, now I don't, I think we can beat any of them.

It would be a battle against bayern or juventus and could go horribly wrong against Barcelona or Madrid. I think we can win it. I'm not bothered who we draw, we have to beat the best to win it. They're all good from now on. I'd like seville or utd but would hate, I mean proper hate to go out to utd. But I feel they're the weakest sides left in. If not one of those, I think we would take juventus over 2 legs. I love your optimism salah but you have to respect the other teams that play at this stage of ucl every year. We are newcomers and teams probably DO fancy playing us over real or bayern Munich. Like I say, I do think we can do it but I'm not getting my tattoo just yet.

{Ed0333's Note - I got a Liverbird tattoo on my right hand a few weeks ago, best tattoo I ever got. I get so many compliments on it. I recommend it to any Liverpool fan. Heck I’d recommend it to United fans lol.

Agree super, we are in it so we can win it, this stage comes down to luck and tactical acumen which i think klopp lacks.

We need to respect any team we play at this stage of the comp but think it would be foolish to think there will be any so called weak teams in the last eight.

Its too early and let's take one tie at a time. I'd rather we get roma/ shakther and let the big ones cancel themselves out in the quarters.

I think it is a chance for an English side but not necessarily because the other teams are weak, I’ll grant you Barcelona aren’t what they were 5 years ago, but I do think city are a good side as our we. I don’t think if for example we were to win it it would be comparable to 2005, that wasn’t a particularly good team but I think the current one is. If we can get a bit lucky with the draw and keep pulling the “weakest” side I wouldn’t care who we played in a final because in a one off match we are capable of beating anyone.

Klopp seems to relish playing in Europe. I think he will get the job done. Anyone has the quality to win the Champions league. I think it will be between, City, Juve, Pool, Madrid and Barca. A close one this year though, there doesn't seem to be quite the gap between some of the teams than other years. Would kind of like Chelsea to do Barca, i think at the Nou camp though almost mission impossible.
