That was a very professional performance last night. Did the job, rested players and no one got injured. A win would have been nice to keep the feeling going but its fine.

Karius is getting better with every game but my only worry is that he comes off his line too much. I'm sure this is something teams have picked up on and I wouldn't want him to get embarrassed by a shot from distance.

All the best keepers play well of their line, it’s a massive part of the game and the benifits far outweigh the risk. It’s one of many flaws in Mignolets game who is so hesitant when coming off his line.

He'd prevent more chances sweeping up like he does than the occasional long range strike.

As long as Klopp can flick the switch back by Saturday, it's a good result.

OP, that is the way he is told to play as he is a perfect fit for the high line, the same one he played in at Mainz for 3 seasons where he was brilliant there. The goal is to sweep up danger before it happens. If you don't do that, you get the situation in the Burnley v Everton game where Pickford (who is crap BUT the one many believed is better than Karius) stayed on his line and allowed Barnes to get to the ball and beat him whereas had that been Karius, that would never have happened. The guy is doing fine and hopefully, plays a blinder vs Utd.
