Eds, what's a typical market pool for English sides in the Champions League?

{Ed001's Note - eh?}

Agree with Ed on this one!

{Ed001's Note - that was not the kind of thing you want to read when you first open your eyes in the morning! I have been awake 2 hours and still can't make sense of it.}

This is a prize money question. The market pool is the amount of money put aside for teams of individual countries based on how much that country pays for CL television rights.

It gets split between teams of that country based on a number of criteria but, essentially, the team that gets furthest gets the most. As for the exact amount it's impossible to work out but last season English clubs got between 26 and 49 million euros each.

{Ed001's Note - why do people care? It is not going to make any difference to them.}

Round, filled with water and about £29.99 from
Argos.?! I’m totally lost with this one.

I feel like he's asking about betting odds but that's a pretty wild guess.

Unfortunately, I disagree with Ed01 on this.

57.3% (to one decimal place) 👍.

I believe the answer to be over priced not so great players who will be off like a shot it the top Spanish sides come calling.
Of course I could and probably am wrong.

To be fair ed it's just one of them things that some people wonder about. I looked into this a couple of years ago because I was interested how UEFA divvied out prize money, not because it's important, just because I was curious.
