I just do not want to even imagine what it feels like being a Gunner or Chelsea fan at the moment.

Come on Liverpool!

Probably feels the same as us after Rafa left.

After Rafa left? Huh?

Don't get me wrong, Rafa did some good things for the club but we are in that much of a better situation now compared to Rafa's last season in charge. Club has moved on for the better.

I can imagine that majority of Gunners fans want to see the back of Wenger as he is holding Arsenal back being stubborn and their board seem to be happy for him to stay on as maybe they are not sure on who will be a suitable replacement for Wenger?

Abramovich might have also found himself in a difficult situation chopping and changing managers season in and out. Who does he bring in to replace Conte?

It looks like LFC are finally starting to turn the corner. Onwards!

Can’t discount Chelsea yet and we still have to play them away.

Not a bad weekend. Arsenal out of the running totally now for top 4. Chelsea another 3 points further behind, all we need now is for Palace to really dig in, and get something tomorrow. Here's hoping.

Max I see what you're saying but we've just turned a corner ourselves, and I feel we know exactly what they are going through as we've gone through it for the past half a decade and more, 7th,8th,6th place finishes! Thankfully we're on the up now but let us not forget our rollercoaster journey!

I suspect that Arsenal fans feel the same way as Everton fans feel right now, the same way Liverpool fans felt towards the end of Rodgers reign. A feeling of resignation and apathy, that nothing is going to change until the current manager goes and someone new comes in.

No Drogie we can’t discount Chelsea yet but the results have meant that we can even lose against Utd and Chelsea and as long as we win the other 7 against bottom half opposition we are guaranteed top 4. That’s assuming that Chelsea win every game from now until the end of the season which right now they show very little sign of doing.

Perspective is that we know exactly how Arsenal and Chelsea fans feel right now.

Let us not forget we have endured glimmers of hope and then depths of mediocrity for the past 28 years!

Glass houses and stones.

I think we're doing much better now. That last season rafa was here things began going downhill. Wasn't that the start of us losing out of the top 4 we were accustomed to?

Arsenal already missed top 4, this sEason is looking no different. Chelsea, still too soon to say, but this season they've fallen from grace, plus if they start losing some of their star players that will hurt them.

Again sounds a lot like us after Rafa left. Those many seasons of 'transition' only now since the 08/ 09 season does it seem like we're coming out of.

The season we came 2nd with Rodgers, I believe was more down to Suarez, and having sterling, and sturridge clicking well. More of a fluke since we really haven't consistently replicated since.

As for Klopp, yes last season we became top 4, but that's still a 'meh'achievement for us (at least it should be) .

Again if we start challenging consistently for the title, and top 4 becomes the norm, then we really have turned the corner, and transitioned out of the 'transition' (like what I did there? )

The same way we felt for many years?

Bobbys builders not only would Chelsea have to win all of there games spurs would have to aswell to stop us getting top 4, a don't know the fixtures as am one game at a time person, if Chelsea and spurs still have to play each other or they both have to play Utd and spurs still have to play city then like you say mate a find it very hard to believe that we won't now finish in top 4.
for me we have to be looking at 2nd now and if we win our remaining games then it's in our own hands and a find it hard to believe that we won't finish second and next season we will be challenging and in with a good shout at winning the title and a well over due one I must admit.
Come on the mighty reds YNWA.

Given the unrest with Conte, if I was Arsenal I’d be seeing if there’s a chance of him moving to Arsenal in the summer.

Looks good for top 4 but I've learned as a Liverpool fan not to get my hopes up! We are in a good position though but bear in mind Chelsea have 4 home games now.

The club backed the manager,
New signings have been fantastic,
So much so that the team has kicked on even after losing Couts (for top money)

Times are good at LFC and there is more to come,

Well done to the Kop for singing Rafas song, He's a top manager and still loves LFC.

We know too well how Arsenal and Chelsea fans would be feeling. far more familiar for LFC fans in recent times.
