Hi! I was very sceptical about Alisson but this guy has really good reactions close range and he seems to be very smart positional sense. Here you can see some saves!

I know Ed01 said he could be as good as DDG. But. Just bear in mind that that as far as getting a young keeper who has had one good season in another league goes, we did that already. Alisson does seem a slight waste of money when we don’t even know how VVD will help Karius develop and there are other areas we need to strengthen.

Well Buffons recent comments about Allison are pretty impressive and coming from one of the all time goal keeping greats.

If he got Buffon's approval, he gets mine. Buffon is one of if not the best keeper of my lifetime.

Allison is top quality and will be one of the top ten keepers in the world. If we prioritise anything this summer it should be to get him in if he is interested. If we don't get a keeper we should then prioritise a defensive partner for vvd and cover for full back and see how karius develops. Oh and i guess we need a midfielder to cover for cans departure.

I feel many are setting them self up for disappointment! I would love Alisson to come but can you really see us, 1. Paying way over his market value to make Roma happy just because we got Salah on the ''cheap''? 2. That Alisson would pick us over f. eks Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG who are all interested? I'm just being realistic.

Spot on, Nostradamus. Not to forget that Ed02 has said Allison is for now, a non starter, would cost a pot of gold, and that Klopp really wants Navas while at the same time open to keeping Karius if he impresses which he is actually doing. IMO, I would let this whole Allison stuff go as we have other pressing issues in midfield and out wide, to deal with.

I won't judge on a video clip, but i'd be quite worried about how many shots he parried right into the danger area of the 6 yard box.

Looks very agile and quick though.

He’s been the best keeper in Serie A this season and he’s Brazil’s first choice ahead of Man City’s keeper. Watch any of Roma’s games and you’ll see why he’s ok course to be one of the best in Europe. £60m for him represents better value for money than Navas at half the price. If we can’t or aren’t going for Becker. Don’t waste £30m on Navas, spend that elsewhere and keep Ward and let him and Karius fight for number one.
