A great point made earlier today, if Utd beat Spurs tonight and we beat them on Sunday we would be 8 points clear in 4th.
Would that make us happy or would we still be moaning? lol.

It’s the united winning part and them being six points clear of us that’s hard to stomach 😂.

I absolutely want a United win (as much as it pains me to say it) . At the end of the day, what's the difference between us finishing 2nd and 4th? It's still CL football. I'd much rather spurs lost ground and we finished 4th instead of them winning and it being a 4 way fight for 3 places. Even a draw would mean points for them so I'm firmly (unfortunately) supporting Man Ure tonight.

{Ed001's Note - the difference is about £2m and direct entry to the group stages of the Champions League rather than an early start to the season in the prelims.}

2 big ifs mate. They will win v Utd tonight and Sunday will be a very tough game at Anfield.

Personally hoping for a draw in that game. 4th is ours to loose but united dropping points would put us in a better position to nab 2nd or 3rd.

The fact that Utd aren't gunning for the title I could live with them winning tonight.
You are right kloppsreds7, two big ifs so dare I say it but we need Utd to do us a favour tonight. Then roll on Sunday when we will take three more off them. We owe them big time.

Personally don't think we'll catch Utd so it's a draw for me.
Think rules change next season and 4th place goes straight to group stage. though it's difficult to keep track with all the changes! Bring back the champions league for champions only!
