He'll be warming the bench all the time. Know they have money to bien but makes no sense at all. Already have more than enough players to cover. Why did they buy Bernardo Silva in the summer.

Maybe we should offer Phil Foden an escape? He clearly has no future at Man City, despite being the most talented English attacker I've seen emerge since Wayne Rooney.

This is what annoys me about Modern football. Man City have Sterling, Sane, Jesus, Aguero, Bernardo and Zinchenko; plus academy players Diaz and Foden.

And yet they want more forwards? They couldn't get Sanchez so they are going to go after Mahrez instead? This is why Guardiola will never be the best manager in the world. He has £200m worth of forward talent across 6 senior players, and in Diaz and Foden he has 2 great young talents.

If Sane is injured, for god's sake give your £50m summer signing Bernardo a chance and let one of the young talents have his spot on the bench!

This isn't a show of ambition. It is the football equivalent of gluttony. Scrap your academy if you want 7 big money signings to cover 3 bloody positions.

Mahrez is a right sided forward. Silva is a midfield playmaker.

Pep will lose credibility if he replaces Silva with Mahrez. Silva needs to be replaced by a Veratti, Pjanic, Kroos or Koke type player.

You can't replace the best playmaker of the Premier league era with a ball carrier who's only ever had one good season.

Tbf, I'd probably take B silva out of that list. He's not cut out for the epl and I think pep discovered that pretty quick. But what do city care. Its was only a 50mill risk haha.
