Hi eds, reading that emre can may well sign a contract with us now, have you heard anything on this?

I also would like to ask about any possible return for sudo I liked him in his very few outings here I know it's probably a no chance but again reading these stories about a return.

And finally people need to get behind karius now he is number one at least untill next season and I think we need to believe in him remover de gea weren't great when he first started at united but look at him now, I'm not saying karius will have the same turn around in form or ability but these things happen

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - No, no and I agree}

Talking about Karius and the disappointing first goal yesterday, yes it was bad but I was watching a few clips of when man city beat us 3_1 in 1981 and Grobbelaar was awful for 2 of the goals. It was a game I was at and I always remember the game on boxing day. Grobbelaar was very dodgy at first but his confidence grew and he ended up being a great keeper. So maybe the kid needs a break. We can't crucify players every time they make a mistake.

He's hardly played, he needs a run before being judged. It's like Lallana coming on making a mistake and everyone be like sell him!

Spot on, boys. The goal looked bad, for sure bUT I saw the goal again and again and regardless of the comedy of errors that happened before the shot by Sane, that shot was a true belter. It looked like a missile fired from 7 yards out and the ball was already past him before he knew it and could only parry it into his own net.

The hope now is that he learns from this quickly and take his chance. He always had my support cos I feel strongly that he got rolled by "fans" and the "pundits" who I will not name. It's his chance now and he has to take it, period.

Please do not compere karius with grobelaar, he made a mistake on occasion but made saves no other keeper could, in today's game he would be one of the best in the world.

The standard of keepers now is shocking, btw migs is better than karius by a long way.

Couldn't give more than one agree brover, wish I could, no keeper would have stopped it unless they were stood in the way, human reaction times make it physically impossible to stop that shot.
Pundits know and make lfc's GK issues a big deal, that weren't one for me.

77 ‘Migs is better than Karius’? Wow.

I don’t see how anyone can claim Migs is better than Karius. Karius may not have been great so far with us but he was voted by his peers as the second best keeper in Germany when we bought him, which behind Neuer and with the keepers in that league is no small feat. Since then he’s had injury disrupt his pre-season, made a couple of errors that he’s been crucified for, errors which by the way have only been sensationalised because of the already highlighted shocking standard of goal keeper he was trying to replace and never had a run of games to be fairly judged on. All this and he’s only 24 so lots of room for improvement. Migs in the other hand has consistently proven he is not good enough. I’m sure he’s a great guy and whiles he’s at Liverpool I will support him, and maybe you are right that Migs is better, but I certainly don’t think there’s enough evidence for that statement and I think Larius deserves a chance to prove himself.

There’s not much in it, neither would get in any of the other teams in the top 6 🤝.

You can see how much more confident the defenders are with karius in goal. He could potentially have done better for the Sane goal but look at how often they played it back to him and then he played balls forward to the advantage of our forwards. When Migs is in goal the defenders look nervous to pass back to him because they know how poor his distribution is.

The speed with which Karius distributes the ball is a vast improvement on what Mignolet offers.

Karius might not be a world beater but after years of Mignolet errors I'd much rather see Karius given a good run of games. If after that he's not up to it fine but at least give him a chance.
