Reading through all the posts this morning, isn't it great that nobody can agree on motm.

Mine was Emre Can, i don't think i have seen him this good for Liverpool before. Actually you are right thinking about it, could easily just have said Chamberlain, or Firmino or Salah or Mane or even Robertson.

Definitely!
I'd go for Bobby myself but really couldn't argue with 4/ 5 other lads either! Great performance.

Can was my MOTM. He was the glue that allowed our midfield to take charge of city's. That is no mean feat. Honorable mentions for Bobby and surprisingly Robertson.

Klopp afterwards also reveiled that Emre was playing a bit sick. that's why they had to take him out in second half. that's a hell of an attitude from a player with outgoing contract, showing that he is a real professional! Giving it all for Liverpool!

Robbo for me. Although he may not have been the best player on the pitch, which will make people disagree with my choice, he was my man of the match for stepping up and playing for the shirt, showing that passion that we fans crave from the team.
That lone pressing run he did put a beaming smile on my face.
Not to mention giving sterling a frustrating time!

Great team performance anyhow.

Bobby by far, pressed from the front and never stopped for the entire 90 - his workrate is infectious and it pushes those around him to do more too. On top of that he scored a really well taken goal, definitely my MOTM.

Can proved me wrong yesterday. I suggested that we start with that midfield 3 to have enough energy to deal with Can's head space situation. But no need, he was on it! I can't single him out because to a man (aside from the obvious), that was the best team performance I've seen from us in years. Can will never be fully disciplined enough to make that deeper role his own, and yes, he still left holes yesterday but I can't bemoan his application or guile one bit.

Still, Bobby man of the match for me. Set the tone, led from the front. His goal epitomised his performance. What a player!
