Can anyone tell me much about Liverpool's recent sponsorship deal with Tibet Water company? Has there been any backlash or protest? I'm a bit ashamed that we would enter into a deal with a company that profits off the oppression of a people and the exploitation of their resources.

{Ed002's Note - All deals with organisations that are socially questionable (e.g. Bet Victor), socially bankrupt or have caused the club embarrassment (e.g. Dunkin’ Donuts), nonsense (Nivea and the club’s official coconut water supplier TCC), are from a country with controversial human rights (flag carrier Malaysian Airlines – who replaced just as bad Indonesia’s Garuda) or have been accused of exploitation (Tibet Water) should be cancelled or run down as soon as possible. Being on morally better ground will make a club with Liverpool’s profile to get better profile sponsors. I am astonished that the club keep doing this.}

So i guess that rules out a deal with VIPOO, miramax (harvey weinstein) and poundland?

Never even heard about it until you posted Burkeyboy but it is outrageous that the club continues to sign sponsorship deals with such morally dubious companies - why do they do it? Is this just pure greed?

{Ed002's Note - You would have thought that the club would see this.}

What embarassment did Dunkin Donuts cause out of interest Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - I really don’t want to open all of this stuff again.}
