Hi eds, happy new year to you all and everybody on the site. It’s a shame that we have lost Couts but we have lost and replaced better players in our past. Quick question, if we were to throw the cash at Real Madrid do you feel there would be the slightest chance they would accept a deal for Assencio or is that pie in the sky? Thanks in advance, great site.

Thanks Ed, just read the post about your friend. Terrible news so sorry to hear that. I think news like that and things that Liverpool fans have had to go through over the years shows that losing a footballer to another team is pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Head up ed.
