Really disappointed with Coutinho. As I was with Suarez, Torres, Owen etc.

I’ll get over it obviously. The club will survive.

It does feel this time that we’re taking a smaller step backwards than normal. Let’s take those two steps forward ASAP!

Suarez' conduct disappointed me more than his desire to leave. Unlike coutinho he took the rejection of his transfer request on the chin and played an absolute blinder of a season without a single sulk, he appreciated that we would need a season in advance to prepare replacements.

Torres leaving was disappointing but ultimately it was gerrard who advised him to move for the sake of his career, he clearly wasnt happy at liverpool at the time and that's okay. Sure moving to chelsea was a bit of a kick in the teeth but i don't blame him, i still love the guy.

Even sterling, still never understand why people were so upset when he left. He let us know well in advance and left in the wake of the most appalling season of football i have ever seen from liverpool. I can guarantee you i would not want to stay to play under rodgers if i was iin his shoes. Sure he left for city but i genuinly don't think he didn't sign because of the money, i believe him when he says it was the club, plus rodgers' handling of the situation was disgraceful and only vindicated his decision to leave.

Owen is probably at this stage the only one who has acted more awfully than coutinho, who left his so called 'boyhood team' despite us being desperate and rafa begging him to stay, and leaving for buttons too.

Coutinho has acted appallingly compared to these players and is not the man i thought he was. We are in a strong enough position without him but his handling of the situation has been a joke. He must surely understand that he needs a replacement. So why did he tell us he wanted to leave with 3 weeks left of the window instead of during the season? What did he seriously expect? He then threw a strop and was clearly feigning injury and getting his entourage to leak tidbits to the press. He couldn't even make it through the full season like suarez did without spitting his dummy out. Of all the players to have left us in our time this saga has been one of the most insulting.

There is nothing surprising here as we all knew he would go this Jan. The bigger issue now is how we move on as a squad and a team and I trust Klopp to do the right thing.

Agree g1dgo. Will be interesting to see how many "injuries" he has from here on.
Lets hope we invest in some quality for defence, keeper and a good replacement. Mahrez for a price of 35 mil or less, maybe but no more.

What on earth are you talking about? Suarez was by far the worst, much much worse than Coutinho!

He pressed legal charges against the club until he could get his move!

Sometimes the fans on here have no idea.

Get off Couts back. He's gone now, we've got good money for him. Stop demonising the lad, we're bigger than a player.

Suarez did take legal action keith, based on a clause he believed was in his contract, which there was not. Once he realised the club really were not going to sell him he knuckled down for the whole season. I know all of this so please do not insult my intelligence and say i do not know what i am talking about, or get too upset over my own opinion.

I could pull up some of the negative total rubbish you have posted on here not too long ago, but i am not going to do that.

Why u disappointed for? Has he really done anything for us I ask? .
By that I mean=
Lampard pushing Chelsea to the title
Scholes pushing united to title
Yaya pushing city to title
De Bruyne pushing city to title this yr
Kanye pushed Leicester to title
Gerrard got us 2nd twice
You catch my drift please ad like to hear what has Phil done for us? We will be better without him in the players we bring in am sure lfc will push for the title next yr and it will be Phil who.
