I would tend to agree that if we bought in Thomas Lemar and Barcelona gave us £120-130m and Rafinha for Coutinho it wouldn’t be the worst result from this situation,

Thanks for insightful review Ed. Would you say he is quick maybe not salah, mane pace but is he fast over first 10 yards etc? Have to say I agree with what you have said I the few games I saw him play for Barcelona few years back. Looked neat technically sound with good work rate and eye for goal.

{Ed001's Note - that is not me mate, it was MK Scouser that wrote it. The link just autogenerates in my name.}

No worries Corleone.

Coco, he's not really quick at all. Think James Milner or Emre Can. Not slow, but not fast either. He is quite good at changing direction though and he tends to use that agility and low centre of gravity to outmanoeuvre opposition players, rather than just sprinting past them.

Good article that Adam, I'd personally be against taking on Rafinha as it is not the desired quality, certainly when losing someone of Coutinho's ability, hopefully lessons from out past (nunez anyone) will have been learned.

p. s. your writing is getting better, flow and overall style is improving, good on ya.

Personally wouldn't take him, another squad filler to take the place of a talented youngster. Rather take the money and go all out to convince goretska to sign and bring in brandt or lemar.
