It was a thrilling match vs the Gunners and posted a few days before the match that it was not going to be about defending.

After the first half I was thinking 3 points but then two massive errors by Gomez and Mignolet saw us trailing 3-2.

The transition from defence to attack from our players is simply mind blowing to watch. Arsenal can be lucky we were so wasteful in front of goal in the first half.

We came back with the equalizer so job done. 1 point from the Emirates and we are still sitting in 4th.

Transfer window opening soon and will be interesting to see if Klopp signs that illusive CB he requires. Hopefully it is not some ridiculous amount on VVD who ain't going to solve anything.

There is a point to be made that if United go and park the bus and collect one point in a difficult away match, Mourinho is hailed as a genius, but Klopp gets a point in an away game playing attacking football and only really let down by individual errors and the press have a field day.

Max, I love you and your posts BUT I like Jayden, disagree. That was a win that we threw away esp. with the way the game panned out. We should have been 4 goals up at half time a d no one would have batted an eye lid and even the Arse fans. If that was City, no way Arse get back into that game as they would have been out of sight. Arsenal (regardless of what Wenger is spinning in the media along with their fans) are a complete shambles and in deep trouble based on that perf. It looked like we were toying with them at some point, we were that dominant.

We threw that game away and the criticism we and Klopp get, is warranted. We should not be sugar-coating this at all. Migs needs to be dropped and the key thrown away and Klopp had better wise-up fast cos if he keeps Migs in goal sstill, he will get himself sacked.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that brover..

That key needs burying.

That result was not just down to Migs error.

Firmino should have had 2 first half goals and missed one header and hit the keeper with the other. He also had another great shot creep over the bar.
Mane missed a volley which he should’ve hit the target with.
Gomez failed to deal with the cross for the first.
Midfield went to sleep for the second and Can failed to try and close Xhaka down.
Gomez stood and watched Ozil wander into the box.

We miss too many good chances. We don’t close down space or track runners when we don’t have the ball and our keeper and defenders make too many daft mistakes.

We can agree on that. What we are saying overall as you well know, is that even tho we should have converted our chances, the GK should be there to make the most routine of saves to help stem the momentum we were losing and he actually succeeded in screwing that up. That was where the momentum completely changed as the nerves jangled and Gomez (I agree, should have put off Ozil a bit more) to score. The defenders do not and have never trusted him cos they keep getting blamed for his own screw ups. It's not rocket science, lad. Bin him for good and put Karius in till the end of the season as he has earned that right with his solid perfs. this season. Oh and by the way, NO club will sell you their "great GK" so people need to get over that.

I suppose that was Man City’s attitude when they bought Ederson?
Every player has a price.

Ron, I doubt you nor I knew who Ederson was before City signed him. Spurs, Chelsea, AM, and Utd will not sell their GK's to LFC, end of story as we would have never sold Reina to any of these clubs if they came calling. Ederson is a young GK who is talented and NOT yet world class as he is nowhere near the Selecao.
