There a decent CB's in the PL BUT I don't agree with Ried and definitely not Evans choices, my friend. Ed01 talked about Ben Mee of Burnley who he thinks is pretty good. I then watched him vs Arsenal and he was the leader of that defence, marshaling them and holding the line. There is also Christensen of Chelsea who is very good as I have watched him a lot this season. I'll have to think of a few more right now BUT those are the two I can think of at the moment.

Evans is a manc and i wouldn't touch any west ham player with a barge pole, apart from obiang.

Their really isn't anybody i'd choose to go, somebody from burnley maybe, gibson of middlesborough, i'd avoid van dijk because of the money he would cost and i just don't think he is what we need. But i do believe we need 2 centre backs and that in any backline that having defenders from your own country is how all teams win titles, due to confidence and communicating with team mates. If a centre back doesn't settle in well it shows up far worse than if an attacker does not.

people have been going on for ages about how klopp should sort the defence out but really if you could name one defender (cb) who would actually sort it out, i find myself wacthing other leagues when i have a bet in them and watching centerbacks and to be honest there is a severe lack of quality defenders never mind centerbacks alone, plus you also have to take it in mind are they available.

Whilst I agree many of the above mentioned would be a step up from current CB’s at Liverpool, I wouldn’t mind someone like Sokratis from Dortmund.

Not my guy, Westwood. He lacks pace and has positioning issues. You saw the way Origi did him for pace and power in the EL at Anfield. I would not take him.
