Maybe he just doesn’t want to sign a new contract and nothing is going to change his mind.

Totally agree, if it is the reported release clause do it.

Easily a 30mil man, tie him to a contract then if someone wants him that bad then they can stump up some cash for him.

If he was more consistent then he wouldn't need "playing assurances" because he'd be a consistent starter. He is not a superstar player in the top 5 players in the world, he is not in a position to be demanding playing assurances IMO.
Our manager rests players, if you can't handle that then it's better that you leave.

That being said Ron, Why would Juventus assure him playing time? If it’s not about money then surely it’s about starting berth. I agree why Sturridge wants to leave, But Can is very very good player and you are weakening the team by selling a first teamer! Can is no fringe player!

Ron, I disagree. Can is wanted by Juve, who are the most successful team in Europe in the past 4 years after RM. The fact that he is not a top 5 player in the world, is of no relevance cos if he was, he would not be here to be gin w/ as he came to us as a youngster. Can wants to know what will happen to him esp. since Naby is coming and will start. That is it.

Ed01 said that Klopp does not see him starting a lot going forward and it is only right for the boy to assess his options. If he goes to Juve, he will start and play alongside the Pjanic, Dybala, Higuain, Marchisio of this world. If you think he will be a fringe player then you are wrong. Juve is a huge step up from LFC plain and simple, like it or not and YES, he will win trophies there as well. If he goes, he goes and we move on BUT let us not make him out to be the villain here cos, he is not.
