Thoughts on Coutinho captaining the side today ed001?

{Ed001's Note - I don't understand that, he is not a leader and he has not deserved it. Though it is up to him to respond with a performance and good attitude. Fingers crossed it is the right choice.}

Ed01 a agree that he hasn't deserved it but by good that's one way to put the doubters to bed. look forward to your match review with a huge smile on me face like all us reds should have, But am sure the moaners will say we were lucky and we still not good enough unfortunately instead of enjoying what was a very good performance.

I’d say he’s as much of a leader as henderson to be fair, just my opinion like, as a squad they all seem like good lads but no true leader there I think a fair few clubs are suffering with this at the minute though.

Yeah ed01 a get what you are saying there mate, the truth is the exact opposite of what some posters say, imo without him a don't believe we would be as good as we are but just maybe we are watching a different player to some or maybe we just make it up lol.

Hey Ed001. We don't have any leaders! Firmino was of course brilliant today, he didn't put a foot wrong in the first half. He glued the whole performance together. I don't recall anyone saying he was crap, (well maybe me but I was trying to make a point) . No one is saying he can't score goals, I bloody hope he can score goals he is our centre forward.

I just don't think it works when some players are injured or off form. Its more a change of system I am after, when its not going full tilt.
