I am a bit puzzled about Harry Wilson. He seems like a talented and industrious kid, so why hasn't he been involved with the first team setup lately? In that regard, if either Ed1 or Ed2 can answer, What constitutes a candidate to be considered 'qualified' to make the step up to the first team, since Harry Wilson has been successfully demonstrating leadership as captain of U23's, banging in the goals (plentiful) and working hard for the team (from the little I have seen), but still hasn't gotten a sniff in the last couple of seasons. Is there something missing from his game/ personality that has kept him from making the cut, especially given that a bunch of young kids have been included in the first team setup already.

{Ed001's Note - for a while he was held back by lack of application but now he is just seen as a bit weak and needs to strengthen.}

Wilson has missed his chance imo. Kent and Ojo are ahead of him in the pecking order for sure. Of the 3, Ojo looks the most likely to be in next season's squad. Kent's loan has not gone as well as the club would have hoped (the lad barely plays) and Ojo is playing regularly and scoring and assisting for Fulham (when he is not injured) .

If we needed someone this season for injuries etc Indian, Ojo and Kent aren't here whilst Wilson is here and scoring every game he gets at whatever level. Things change quickly in football.

Ojo maybe - Kent isn’t really pulling up trees. I expect Wilson to get a loan or move on.

While we on the subject of talking about players in the U23's, I thought I might also check on Ejaria. He has been included heavily in the first team setup (training) and also been taken on preseason tournaments with the first team, however, he is still to make his breakthrough and succumbed to mostly appearances in the U23's. He surely needs to be sent on a loan, because I don't see him getting ahead of any of the current first team midfielders. Ed, know anything about the plans surrounding him? Yan Dhanda is another one who comes across as an exciting player and if you have any info on him, I would like to hear it.

Don't think its said enough, but thank you for all the amazing work you guys do!

{Ed001's Note - Ejaria was seen as a potential first team player, but he has not quite shown the strength or ability to push anyone out of the team. He needs, like many others, injuries in his position to get a chance. If the right offer came in for him in January, he will go out on loan. Dhanda is one the club are really keen to get him in and around the first team, so I doubt he will go anywhere, but again loans depend on who is interested.}
