Tbf, at least Simao to Liverpool was true once.

"Barton to Liverpool" cropped up a few times. Initially as a replacement when Gerrard was supposed to be going to Chelsea, but resurfaced a couple of times after. I think it was floated as recently as when Kenny was in charge.
