If we had a proper striker instead of Firmino, we could've won 1-6.

{Ed001's Note - it is such a shame Bobby can't score....}

Mk I bet you were calling for Rooney to get an England recall after his midweek hat trick 😂. But Credit where credit is due Firminho took both chances very well today. However I think we will need a new striker as it's likely that Sturridge, Origi and Ings will leave in the next couple of windows and if we get a striker it might as well be a goal scoring 1 even if he is just a plan B behind Firminho.

{Ed0333's Note - I think most clubs look to buy a goal scoring striker Jayden.

Correct me if am wrong I didn't realise Liverpool had signed a new player, who the hell is this firminho? A hope he turns out just as good as firmino might stop the posters on here asking for a 20goal a season striker.

You must be including Klopp in the people have forgotten about Solanke comment Mk because up until Stoke, he had only played 84 minutes of premier league football for us. I thought he played extremely well on Wed and I look forward to seeing more of him.

It’s his first season Jayden and Firmino is undroppable atm and fit and I think Klopp wanted to give studge a last chance to see if he’s still got something to offer which so far it doesn’t seem like he does. I think studge will go and Solanke will be getting the chances the studge does with Brewster hopefully continuing to progress in the u23’s and eventually knocking on the door.

Origi won't be leaving, IMO. Ed01 in the summer, said that Klopp was and still is high on Origi and with good reason. You will NOT find a third choice striker with 22 goals in two seasons in his locker, in the PL. No way.

Ed01 explained that the idea was that they thought Studge would leave so Origi would take his place behind Bobbie with Solanke behind him. Studge did not go and Origi is too good to be on the bench behind a guy who many believe is past it and cos the WC was coming, he had to go on loan.

And unlike Solanke who is a teenager and a rookie, Origi is an established international player and needs to be in the WC and will be there so he needed to leave to get games. Can't say the same for Solanke who can still bide his time. I hope Origi does well at Wolfsburg so he can come back stronger and better cos IMO, Studge won't be here next season.
