A shame that Ryan Kent didn't get any minutes tonight. Two poor teams. I'm surprised he can't get in the first 11.

Should have kept Kent considering Freiburg are only using him as padding for their squad when he would be playing a similar role at LFC and could have learned more under Klopp.
The loan system continues to be a mess for LFC.

but harry whos place in the squad would kent take, i want solanke, grujic, woodburn all to get game time and he wouldn't get their place and tbh he wouldn't get aox spot either no matter how much people rant, so how and why would you keep him in the squad atleast at another club he can try impress either them or us and before you say he gets no time you impress on the training ground not just on the pitch.

Player goes out on loan, player doesn’t play much, blame Liverpool. At some point a player has to be responsible for his own development, if he’s not getting enough game time he needs to work harder and fight for a spot in the team. I don’t remember too many people complaining about Kent’s move to Freiburg in the summer, once he gets there he is on his own, he has to stand on his own two feet and earn a place in the team.

It is not as cut and dry as you make it out to be, Smeg. The managers at these teams have their own futures to think about and results need to be got so they can stay in a job so they have to do what is best for their teams and this may not include giving our loan stars a chance. This is why Ed01 says that the loan system must be scrapped. Just saying.

Maybe he’s not as good as you thought? It’s a shame but it doesn’t mean Liverpool has necessarily failed in this instance, not every youngster can make it and perhaps he just hasn’t shown enough in training?

Kent always struck me as a talented youngster with good pace and skills, but not necessarily with a killer pass or finish like Wilson, Woodburn, Solanke. I’m far more concerned we get minutes for the latter.
