Im honestly not sure if i want firmino to score more goals or not. i mean on one hand it would be nice to have a 20/ 25 goal a season striker and his work ethic deserves it but on the other hand his celebrations? there pretty dreadfull tbh lol.

To be fair to Firmino, how many times this season could he have put it in the net, but left it to others? There was one where he and Salah kicked it at the same time and Salah got credited. There was yesterday night when he could have hammered it home on the line but shielded it over the line instead etc.

Not to mention how many times he has decided to put it on a plate for someone else instead of shooting.

If he was selfish he could have about 15 goals already. As it is, he has managed 9 anyway despite being a really good team player. I couldn't care less how many he scores. Salah has 17 anyway so who needs a striker like Aguero, Kane or Lukaku who can't even get near Salah despite taking penalties every week? 😉.

Agree. I think I saw mane asking Firmino to leave the ball yesterday even though he was just shielding the ball over the line. got to love Firmino! Also heard he has a bonus for every one of his goals/ assists in his contract, which makes his selflessness even more impressive!

Firmino is only an average player to fans who don't understand the game. or just look for scorers name. The man is brilliant his touch his vision, movement, work rate and most of all as stated above his selflessness.

Completely agree with Adam, Firmino's unselfishness is one of his biggest virtues as he will actively look to bring others into the game and, in attack, we are better for having him in the team. Got a lot of time for Firmino, hope he keeps grafting.

Spot on, Adam. Don't really care about the 25 goal a season striker as that is just a fallacy. We score goals as a team and as individuals and if we can keep clean sheets more consistently, we are capable of winning next to every game we play as next to NO team that can keep us out when we are on form.

Firmino is one of of the most intelligent or technically gifted individual players in the PL. Those who know football know this. Ed01 once said that Pep loves Firmino as he plays the way he would want Aguero to play. Now that is some praise. Underrate Firmino at the peril of losing lots of credibility on your football knowledge cos trust me, he is that good and as Ed01 said, he is too good for LFC and we need players all over the pitch at his level. Salah is a good start. Brilliant player and for someone that talented and gifted, he is as selfless a striker/ forward as you will NEVER find.

The best thing about Firmino (apart from his selflessness) is his ability to form an understanding with literally every player in our forward line. Mane, Salah, Solanke, Ox. All have benefitted from playing along side Bobby. He makes their jobs easier.

He's not that good. But he's a workhorse and is our best centre forward. I think Mane, Salah and Coutinho are better than him.
