I think a top class dm will improve us the most. Henderson is horrendous there.

If he was moved to the box to box roles we should see his performances improve.

Fully agreed Davey. Our lack of protection from midfield is awful, highlighted yesterday by Drinkwaters runs into the box that weren't tracked. A top quality DM would improve the team so much.

Spot on, Gordy. I agree that Hendo is not the best DM (horrendous is a bit OTT as he was brilliant there last season b4 his injuries) BUT a good CB will not help if the midfield offers next to no protection to the defence with the way our CM's leave Hendo out to dry and to do all the CM duties with no help at all from Milner, Wiji and Cou. The guy can't be everywhere at once and at some point, Klopp has to tell them to do their jobs cos right now, they are not.

I do agree to an extent brover that the others don't help. And Henderson is a decent Cm. But his positional sense and decision making for a dm is certainly horrendous. He sees nothing else but the ball and will vacate the real danger time and time again to get it. Great if you're a box to box cm which he is. Bad if your a dm which he is not.

He has been so bad this year which is mainly due to him playing out of position.

I have said this many times now and some keep saying I'm negative because I mentioned I was disappointed after the southampton game. We should not be playing 4 3 3. It is a horrible formation for the players we have.

We should be playing a box of four so if Henderson or Can or however goes ball chasing which they will the other should already be in the dm position.

I think 4 3 3 is a great system but I klopp really should know by now we simply don't have the components to play it.

The 1 1 against Chelsea doesn't upset me. The fact we simply aren't learning is. I think the only hope is transfer markets because klopp seems head strung on this 4 3 3.

My optimism is that Keita being a real key piece. He should offer a lot more balance than coutinho.

Buy a top class Dm. Savic is a great but difficult choice. Someone of that ilk.

Add henderson/ wijnaldum other side and all of a sudden 4 3 3 works.

On a side note man I miss Alonso.

Davey again, you are OTT with your comments. Firstly, Hendo is NOT a DM by trade YET he is playing the position to help the team. I think Can is a better DM BUT does not have the passing range (esp. long range) that Hendo possesses and cannot switch defence to attack quick enuff which is why Naby is coming. We can argue whether Klopp should have gotten a DM or should get one going forward and ED01 has said that he was already open to a DM last season and had Obiang not been injured, he'd prolly be here right now. If you are disappointed about the Saints game wehre we won 3-0 at a canter with a clean sheet and w/ Hendo playing well then that is your choice and it proves nothing in reality as that is just your opinion, which is not fact.

Until we can get a DM and plug some holes ONLY during the TW, Hendo is the DM and he needs help from his fellow CM's and right now, he is NOT getting that help so it is unfair to say that he is horrendous as a DM when he is NOT a DM as you can't have it both ways. Klopp likes the 4-3-3 and it works clearly BUT you are correct that we don't have the players to play it hence the reason Naby is coming cos he plays in the same system we play at RBL. There are still holes in this team that need to be filled so throwing a strop each time something goes wrong, won't help and neither will Savic cos he ain't coming as he signed a new contract last season. The players we have at=re the ones we have like it or not so we support the team until something can happen in the TW. God bless, my friend!
