Am I being over critical here or should Migs have saved that last night? Especially considering he got a hand to it? I’m really not sure if we just highlight Migs because of his other errors or if that was poor goalkeeping again.

Your being over critical mate.

Was wondering the same thing i. e was it a case of a fluke goal that a top keeper would not have kept out anyway or not. Its hard to be objective considering migs' performance for us these past few years but at the same time, Im not sure he could do much. Was he too far to his left when willian got the ball?

just an observation, I thought migs on a number of games seems to be drawn to whichever side the ball is, whereas i think keepers like cech or courtois seem to stay more central. Then again I'm not a pro footballer so wouldn't know. Any former keepers or coaches can offer their take?

If he was an inch taller he would have saved it.

Possibly if he got a slightly better leap he may have got to it with stronger fingers, but it was a pretty weird trajectory and he was trotting backwards. I don't think it was Migs fault as such, but still a soft goal whichever way you look at it.

I'm a goalkeeper who's has been critical of migs over the years. But it's been harsh on him for that. Was a fluke goal and probably the only place he would have scored was in that top corner. Just got to take it on the chin 1 off goal. Think we needed fresher legs on the pitch a lot earlier to close the ball down quicker and for counter attack.

Marius would save it.

I think mignolets athleticism isn't the best, he is incredibly slow by foot and I think with a better jump he would have saved it - would have backed Karius too.

Ward would catch it he dominates the box.

Azk has just nailed it in the 2nd paragraph of his post. Migs gets drawn to the area the cross may be coming from which leaves him too much ground to cover when the cross does go to the back post. Already he has NO footwork nor athleticism (two areas where he is not a patch on Karius) to begin with, it is an impossible task. Look at the goal we concede vs Burnley and you will see the exact same thing. On the goal kick and the ball goes wide to TAA, Migs wonders to the edge of his 6 (for reasons I still don't get) leaving a huge gap on the other side. When the ball is won by Brady over TAA, he has to (again) shuffle back and when Arfield takes the shot, his feet are not set hence, has no chance to save the shot.

Same happened yesterday. Many GK would have recognized that Willian can't shoot from where he is as Klavan did his job well to force him far wide and no angle for a shot. Any GK would anticipate that a cross is coming hence, shuffle back to the center of the goal to get in position for a back post cross. Migs does not do that. The ball is crossed and he moves 2 steps (yeah two steps) and then leaps for the ball. He makes contact but not enough. Had he shuffled his feet quicker from the off, he would have saved that. It was a fluke goal I agree BUT a GK has to give himself every chance of saving a shot and Migs NEVER does that.

Klavan was very slow, letting William go past him with ease, someone mentioned that Moreno could have done better, but he had I think Pedro out wide to keep an eye on,
just a lucky goal, Klopp needs to think about whether it was the right game to make so many changes, and next time to make his subs a bit earlier,
time to look at the next game, and 3 points .

Happy, you are wrong. Willian was running at goal full speed and it was Klavan who got his arse out wide to force him wide and cut out the angle for a shot and left Willian with no other option BUT to hit a blind cross without any accuracy at all and without looking. Job done by him and the defence. I did not say that. Lampard and Rio said so on BT Sport are are they mugs as well?

Pls, enuff with always picking on the likes of Klavan, Hendo, Moreno as scapegoats as Klavan and the defence did NOTHING wrong on that play. It's getting old. Klavan was solid yesterday and the defence played solidly well and kept Hazard and Morata off the score sheet. The mindless scapegoating needs to stop.
