Salah's figures maybe good so far but its hardly surprising. He has simply carried on where he left off from Roma. The guy is no flash in the pan, he has proved it over the last 3 seasons. And at 37 million is an absolute bargain.

Not sure why there is so much surprise over Salah’s form?

What was surprising was why Chelsea and Roma let him go.

He has very good pace and decent skill to take on defenders. If he can polish his finishing he could add more goals to his tally.

After watching him play in the summer and the first couple of games of the season, I knew we had gotten a good player simply because he clearly had come to play (the same could not be said of a few others) . He was running all out from the first day, and is now integrating forward pressing into his game. Mane seems a bit casual at times, but this man will run from goal post to goal post with a ball (just like Firmino) every single time. I shudder to think where our league position would be without his goals.

Spot on, IB and the rest of the boys. Salah scored 19 goals and 11 assists in all comps. last season, potentially contributing 30 goals to Roma's output in all comps. last season so not sure people are that surprising. However what is surprising is how he has pretty met 75% of that goal output (14 in all comps this season vs 19 last season) this early in the season, Now that, many of us did not account for and frankly, he's only getting started, IMO.
