Never again.

What would be the point of playing a player that has no desire to be here or would make the required effort to play for the team and not just himself?

Sell and move on.

17 Nov 2017 15:10:08
No. I wouldn't even let him into Melwood, let alone Anfield.

Nope should never wear the Liverpool shirt again!

after watching solanke the other night I would rather see him get some game time than coutinho.

17 Nov 2017 15:53:56
Yes, he’s a Liverpool player until we sell him, the team is bigger than any individual and if he can help us win a game he should start. Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.

I'd bring him on as a sub all day long. Still a quality player who can be a match winner when needed.

Hope we stick with the 4-4-2 tommorrow.

My Team Choice:

Ward
Gomez Matip Klavan Moreno
Ox Wijndaldum Can Mane
Firmino Salah

Subs: Karius, Milner, Lovren, Henderson, Coutinho, Sturridge, Solanke

Some nice options to change the game there I think.

I toyed with the idea of putting Gomez in CB but I'm not sure about Arnold defensively at RB. And I think right now it is about being as solid as possible.

Lovren's break needs to continue.

Same team that beat West ham for me.

Smeg head how is it cutting of your nose to spite your face! He is faking injury and not interested in playing for us on he’s current form we have better players to start ahead of him. Simples.

Longthing76, at home against a team that has trouble scoring goals and is probably going to sit back and defend I would play him in midfield. We are going to need guile and creativity to break them down and he has the ability to open up defences. Ultimately what matters most tomorrow is 3 points not your precious feelings because you feel slighted by a footballer.

{Ed001's Note - and the last thing needed is some little tit who will lose the ball constantly in our own half because he is feeling slighted that the team that has paid him millions to play for them haven't allowed him to go. The guy is a liability right now and you just want to make snide comments at other fans for not wanting him in the team. Sad that you would rather support someone who is dumping on you from a great height than a fellow fan who would prefer players to make an effort.}

17 Nov 2017 17:13:37
Smeg this is nothing to do with my feelings what so ever. Football is a team game everyone has to be playing for each other otherwise you won’t win. And he is NOT a team player at the minute. Open your eyes.

12.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 17:30:22
Well said 76.It's always been Liverpool's ethos that we win, loose and play as a team. Not 10 but all 11 player's and at the moment he couldn't give a toss about the team so yes he should be kept well away.

13.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 17:38:49
Well as we all know footballers are transient employees, I guess I just don’t get upset by these things. Football fans get so upset when a good player doesn’t show enough loyalty but have no problem running down a player who wants to play for the club but they deem not good enough, loyalty should go both ways. Ultimately my point was that Coutinho should play if he can help the team win, which I think he can tomorrow.

I agree with Smeg Head. I don't understand where this hate came all of the sudden? 2/ 3 weeks ago it was all fine?

15.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 18:39:09
It's not about hate. It's about getting on with thing's and fighting for your team.

16.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 18:47:12
It's World Cup year he should be out of the squad until after the Jan window. Not played and not sold. When the prospect of moving is gone and the World Cup round the corner and he is not featuring we would get a stellar few months of couts or he won't make wc squad and probably miss his dream move.

17.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 18:53:49
Yes for me, if his commitment is right. If not then he shouldn't be anywhere near the squad but then that applies to all players.

18.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 18:31:19
No you should have to prove yourself to play for Liverpool or any team for that matter, I have no issue in players wishing to leave but if your going to fake injury or be a knob trying to get that move then you shouldn’t be in the squad, why should more loyal and players putting a proper shift in be picking up his slack from lack of effort? Sets a terrible precedent that does. Let him rot till his attitude changes or he’s sold.

17 Nov 2017 19:01:42
Whilst I accept that he was faking his injury back in August I believe that this latest injury was genuine, as evidenced by him playing no part in Brazil’s game against Japan. The other stick being used to beat him with is that he’s is not playing well, although with 4 goals in 9 games you could argue he’s doing ok, it’s just another example of fans turning on a player who is supposedly playing badly.

20.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 19:16:42
Am not upset and I don’t hate him. I just have an opinion 👍🏻.

21.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 19:38:24
Agree Rover it should/ does apply to ALL player's mate.

22.) 17 Nov 2017
17 Nov 2017 22:20:54
I never want to see him in a Liverpool shirt again. Faking injury, sulking, no effort etc etc is not acceptable from a professional footballer getting paid millions of pounds a year. Good riddance I say.

23.) 17 Nov 2017

Never change a team that's doing well just to please others, including him again would only disrupt things. Right now is the perfect time to start giving young solanke a 15-20 run every game to gain more and more experience he has a lot and I mean a lot of potential. He's carrying on very similar to Suarez when he wanted to go and disrupted the team until he got his way so in my opinion leave him on the bench and only draft him in if it's a last resort as we are playing a hell of a lot better without him and when you look at the table we are only 2 pts from 2nd place and city WILL drop points this season. They are far from unbeatable especially under the overrated Gaurdiola. And with hopefully 1 new CB coming in at January things can only improve from here on as long as the players and staff stay focused on the job they are payed to do and that is not entertain couts to boost his ego any further. If he wants out let whatever club put their money where their mouth is and take him and I bet it will turn out not too well for him in 24mths time. Just wait and see.

24.) 18 Nov 2017
18 Nov 2017 09:39:26
Why are we thrashing him so much.
Let’s judge him in what he does on the pitch from now on.
The club are still paying his wages and in my view he will still have a major part to play for us this season.

I could be wrong but hadn't things gone bad for coutinho in Italy and we rejuvenated his career? He wasn't living up to the potential or something along those lines. Regardless, I find his attitude disappointing- I understand his frustrations but his disinterest in the team once he hasn't gotten his way could be something Barcelona would probably want to pay attention to. For me the argument that we should use him because he has ability to break down stubborn defences isn't reason to bring in such a disruptive force. I think we should be concentrating on how to beat these types of teams without him sooner, rather than later.

{Ed001's Note - well said.}
