Hi Eds, quick question, players on loan, can they be recalled at any time without penalty, not so much looking at Liverpool players but with Leicester, Everton and now West Ham replacing managers mid way through the season, if the new manager is a strong believer of one or two players the previous manager wasn't, could they be recalled at no cost and put straight into the team?

{Ed001's Note - no. They can only be recalled in a transfer window, for one. Secondly it depends on the deal agreed, you have to have a recall agreement in the deal. Usually there is a compensation figure to be paid if you do recall a player.}

I thought there would be some sort of compensation but wasn't aware could only be done during transfer window, thanks for the info ed.

{Ed001's Note - the rules changed recently, I can't remember whether it was for this season or last season, about the recalls only during transfer windows.}
