ed001 if you don't mind could you give me a quick opinion on dybala, i don't watch italian games or any barring liverpool, but 1- my son seemed to think he's the best thing since sliced bread and 2- football manager he seems to be the best player on the game.

is it all just hype or is he genuinly a future ballon d'or candidate.

thanks.

{Ed001's Note - he is class mate, could very well be a future Ballon D'Or winner, though he will have to beat Mbappe to it. Doesn't have the pace of Neymar or Mbappe, but he is more of a David Silva type of player. All left foot but what a foot! Plays higher up the pitch than Silva, but he is that kind of quick thinking playmaker no 10 the Italians love.}

thanks ed. i agree with mbappe tbh i don't see anyone beating him right now, he wil be the best player in the world on his own instead of sharing it like messi has to with ronaldo.

{Ed001's Note - Neymar has a whole country hyping him though and he gets to play for Brazil, which is always a bonus as most of the world has a soft spot for them. A lot will depend on which country performs best in international tournaments and Argentina are a bit of a mess so that puts Dybala at a disadvantage for now. France are not being well managed either so that could hold Mbappe back too.}

it seems england are being well managed, at least at youth levels with a u21 and u17 world cup wins in 2017 alone, but then they get to the 1st team and we don't have a manager who can mould a good team out of quality individuals sadly.

I don't think it's the England managers, those talented English youngsters will spend the next 3/ 4 years not playing first team football and unfortunately have their development stunted. It's a big problem in the English game and needs to be looked at if we are ever going to be contenders at an international tournament.

{Ed025's Note - i agree den..

You’ve hit the nail on the head there Den, the talent within the English youth system has been at a very high level for around a decade now but first team football for those youth players hasn’t come at possibly the most vital times in their careers which does indeed leave their development in tatters.

Out of curiosity Ed 001, who do you prefer, Messi or Ronaldo?

{Ed001's Note - Messi is a better team player, on the pitch anyway, off the pitch Ronaldo is by far the better person (surprisingly), so I would go for him. Ronaldo is physically better but Messi has the technical edge.}
