Cracking interview with Andrew Robertson on the BBC Sport site at the moment.

Whilst he might not have been everyone's first choice for a LB signing this summer he certainly seems like he's got his head screwed on and is a decent, honest guy.

A good influence at the club it seems and I really hope he can kick on and prove everyone wrong.

Would be my first choice left back 100%, judging by the little I've seen.

Rbbb, he's going to have to beat out Moreno first as he tho not great, has improved and his desire and effort is near unrivaled. This is the big leagues now and if Robbo wanted to play every week, he should have gone to Burnley or stayed at Hull. He has to earn his keep, I'm afraid.

Good comment that Bingo.

Good comment but ignores the fact that Robbo outclasses Moreno every time he gets a chance.
Like I said previously, Robbo must just toss it off in training, probably because he realises he's not being dropped because of his performances. Hard to get motivate when you don't get what you deserve.

True that Ron.

Why are people not shutting down Ron! He says Klopp is not treating Robertson fairly.

Harry, Ron is voicing his opinion. I did not voiced an opinion. I posted a fact based on Ed01's answer to this question when it was previously asked. Ed01 mentioned this exact reason I put up, as the reason why Robbo is not playing. If you have a problem with this answer, Ed01 is the one to air your grievance to.

does anyone else think klopp is a magician just think the likes of grujic Milner ward solanke Robertson seem to have dissapeered they never get any game time. yet the likes of hendo can gini Moreno mignolet are picked virtually every week and I can honesty say not one of them have set the world on fire klopp is so stubborn on his selections. i would love to see ward solanke Robertson given a run of games.

Bingo, I'm all for competition mate. But people say you can't drop Moreno because of his current form; what does that say to Robertson who has arguably been better than Moreno both times he's played?

I just think Moreno, though I love his desire etc, is far too rash when lunging in to allow us to be safe at the back.

Just goes to prove that even at that level good competition for places is better than a kick in the arse.

Biggest game of the season so far tomorrow night,

Come on the reds!

If that was my comment Bingo you would have tore me a new one! Fact!

RBB, again that is your opinion, one which I and incidentally Klopp disagree with. If you want Robbo to play at all cost, take the LFC manager's job and play him yourself cos it seems that it matters a lot to you. I personally don't care who plays provided they do the job. This is all about opinions and nothing more.

Moreno wouldn't get a game for any other club in the top half of the premier league. He cannot defend, he doesn't have the aptitude and his crossing/ attacking is no better than average. There must be a non-footballing reason why he keeps getting selected.

I love these stories. The give an insight to the man and, as Ed001 has frequently said, today's players tend to lack the drive to kick on as they have things handed to them on a plate. Robertson clearly hasn't had that and has had to fight to get to where he is.

Will he be good enough for Liverpool? I don't know, although I agree he has been impressive in his performances to date.

However, I know that it will not be for the want of trying.

His attitude strikes me to be a bit like Kuyt, a grafter. let's hope he has as much, if not more, success.

Definitely a good influence around the dressing room.

We need to alter our perspective. Too many people wanting triers rather than winners.
Sadly, young Robbo can try all he wants but the fact is he just doesn't have the ability to make a mark on this team.
Pay peanuts, you get .
