I think given the season thus far today was better than expected.
Typical Mourinho but hey he is a pragmatist and won't change.
I always thought we would not be able to beat De Gea as our finishing and decision making is poor.
Fantastic to get a clean sheet and to be honest I feel this was Mourinho accepting his team probably aren't good enough to go toe to toe, particularly without Pogba.
Lukaku first big test, came up short, if he'd played for the dominant side today he would have scored.
I still feel the quality of the league is poor as City are vulnerable at the back but there's no one laying a glove on them. Utd will be top 3 as they have the power to dispatch the poor sides and will draw away against the better ones.
We need a striker in Jan plus VVD and e can also finish top 4. Thought Salah was immense today, apart from taking the ball off Coutinho's foot when he was certain to score.
Our problem remains against the other dozen or so not the top 6. I expect us to beat Spurs next week, 4 Pts from 6 in these two tough fixtures would be more than acceptable.

Spurs will not be easy, my friend. But on your post, I propose that people get used to this type for football from Mou when Utd come into town. This is the new normal and though we had chances, we were a bit disjointed in the final third. We are tied with Chelsea and Arsenal on points and are 4 off of Spurs so we are definitely in the mix for top 4. The title? I say we put that on the back burner for now.

{Ed025's Note - i agree bingo..

You are happy with a draw tonight while fully confident we would beat Spurs lol! Hindsight is a good thing as well hope, But football doesn’t work on these two I am afraid. Spurs are one of the most complete team in England! World class at the back and has the best striker in England up top! You seriously expect us to beat them 😂😂😂😂😂. FYR, Harry Kane is not Lukaku! He is a real striker!

Yeah Spurs will be very difficult, tbh I expect nothing out the game, anything more is a bonus. They are top quality with a great manager, they will get top 4 and will be a hard game, a very hard game, credit where credit is due, we can't be blind and say we're going to steam roll them because we wont. If we win, fantastic, but it won;t be easy.

I do, super Harry didn't score today v Bournemouth and today was their first home win. do your research Kane is scoring away not at home.

You can't write him off sonofklopp, he's in great form, give him a chance and he'll put 1 + past us, with our defence it's not hard to do mate. Just because he didn't score against Bournemouth doesn't mean he won't against us. I'm not saying he will, we can't possible know that, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if he did.

If Spurs are such a complete team then why have they won nothing?

Maybe try actually supporting your team, nothing is won in October.

I'm not writing him off, merely presenting the current form and stating Spurs are still struggling to come to terms with the Wembley factor, other teams enjoy playing there.
Lukaku was supposed to score easily against us as well but that never happened.
Sure Spurs will go at us but we've dominated them at there place the last two seasons and only got a point, we are due an away win against them.
I'm not suggesting all our problems have gone overnight, merely that we are still a threat in those against the top 6.
Well those who actually come out of their own half and play 😜 Mourinho's 9 strikers turned into 9 defenders, he's such a wind up merchant.

Sono and Corleone are both correct. Spurs don't like playing us as we are the ONLY team they struggle against. In fact, they are yet to beat us in 5 years in all comps. (9 PL games) and at Wembley, it won't be easy for either team BUT esp. for Spurs. It will be a good game and I back our team to win PROVIDED we can keep it tight at the back and keep an eye on Harry Kane.

Harry is correct that Spurs are one of the most complete teams in the league and YES, they are yet to win a sausage since Poch has been there (he's been there longer than Klopp), Two things can be right at the same time.

{Ed025's Note - im a big fan of poch bingo, he may not have won anything yet but his team play lovely football and surely its only a matter of time..
