Seriously, what's happening with Robertson?

I agree why buy him if your not going to play him. and sticking with 3 out of form players in CM is baffling i would of dropped coutinho back and played solanke in place of wijnaldum.

He joins Ox, Solanke, Klavan and Karius who have all been bought in the last 15 months and are either not good enough to get into the starting 11 or the squad. And to think some fans say the last window was a success or there is nothing better out there to buy.

Very odd as in the few games he has played he done really well and could have had 4 assist alone in palace game had any of our forwards gambled with brilliant crosses he put in. Moreno has improved but I still think it's a myth he's good going forward.

Its ridiculous to be honest, why even buy Oxlade? I know Ed02 always says they are all Klopp signings but is that right? as Robertson, Solanke AND Oxlade don't seem like players Klopp is busting a gut to get in the side, Im starting to question his decision making as much as I love the guy for his enthusiasm.
I don't know but you would have definitely thought Oxlade would replace Mane today especially at home when we could have had Couthino still in midfield and had some creativity there instead of the sideways passing trio.
Lets hope it all works out as this fixture is massive!

Ox creative? I guess if you're of the opinion that toddler refrigerator art is on the level of picaso or slvador dalhi then sure the ox is creative.

{Ed025's Note - i like that ohio..

Karius was the second best keeper in the bundesliga when we bought him but a broken hand, no preseason, new league, more expectations from fans made him prone to mistakes.
Klavan was a good defender in the bundesliga and was bought to be a back up. He had some good and some bad games.
Ox came to play in the middfield and wide forward positions. It's early to judge him, he hasn't had a preseason with us and his first game was when we were one man down and lost 5-0 against city. Needs time.
Solanke is third choice striker with luck he could have won us some games. He is making impact when brought in. He is young enough and with time he can be a very good striker a la lewandowski.

{Ed025's Note - you should be a PR guru vakpa, karius and klavan have been awful up to now though karius has scope to improve, the ox is a seasoned premier league player who is just not very good and to compare solanke with lewandowski is like comparing carlton palmer with messi mate...take off the red specs and have another go..

"new league" is the only relevant thing in that post to Karius's problems.
He was in City's reserves in the past though.

Karius could be the greatest ever keeper in Germany, but that's totally irrelevant to the premier league because of the physicality and style of play in the premier league.

If you're going to sign a decent keeper for your first team in the premier league, the VERY first thing you look for is someone dominant in the air.
Watch any match of Karius in Germany and rarely is he challenged in the air, but when he is he flaps like a drunken beach volleyball player.

Sorry, he was a poor signing.
