Hi Eds. question for Ed001 if you have the time mate.

i would love to get your opinion on King Kenny's second stint as manager of the club. IMO he should have never been sacked and should have been able to stay in the position for as long as he liked. if anyone should be unsackable its him.

im not sure if its a subject that you want to get into. i rememver eveeryone wearing the suarez T-Shirts, how did that impact his position? i understand it shouldn't have happended but he remained in charge for the remainder of the season, why did the owners feel it necessary to sack him?

im so happy the club are honouring Kenny tomorrow, not that i imagine he enjoys all the attention on himself! he deserves all the club can give him. personally i was gutted when he got sacked, we won our last trophy under him, despite having to work alongside Damien Comoli! we not have had the highest league finish but didn't we hit the post 145678 times that year. i really hope the lads get the result for him tomorrow! plus the site is a lot rosier ofter a good result so would helop with your sanity.

aprreciate the time and effort put in by the eds. loving the articles by the way.

{Ed001's Note - they sacked him for his backing of Suarez, so it had a major negative impact. They felt it necessary because backing the player had been felt to have a major negative effect on the way the club was seen around the globe. To be fair, they were right. Dalglish did make a mistake with that one, but the club as a whole should not have let him make that mistake. What happened to the Chief Exec etc at that time? They should have been the ones making the call.

I fully agree that Dalglish should be unsackable, or at least as close to unsackable as it gets. If he had led us to relegation, I could still not have brought myself to call for him to go. He is one man that deserves the support of every fan over anyone else.}

I have not much more to add because you fellas have covered it.

The only thing what gets me is, I know he stood by Suarez too much, which was indeed a huge mistake, having said that, how the hell can you sack a man like Dalglish it just makes no sense to me. I have no idea what goes on behind closed doors at the club but I don't know it just baffles me it really does, I just think there could've been a way around it.

When he got called into Klopps office to have a conference with JH, he said he thought he was getting the sack again but it was all about this stand lol I admire the man he's a true gent, fantastic ex player, a great man and more, he deserves this attention.

I wonder if the owners regret sacking him, I'd like to know that. But anyway, now he has his name on the stand so I'm delighted for him, nobody is more deserving of it.

{Ed001's Note - I am sure they must do.}

IMO, I would have liked it if KK was sacked due to poor results cos at least, that is a professional decision based on on-pitch issues BUT since it was due to the Suarez thing, then it was just unfortunate. Someone should have been there to stop him from supporting Suarez to the hilt but sadly, that did not happen.

Now having said that, these off-field errors should never taint the man, his love for LFC, his love for people in general and of course, his achievements as a player and manager. Not in the least bit. A true legend and gentleman and even a greater man. The fact that he was there to present Suarez the Golden Boot after all that Suarez put him through, is a testament to his wonderful heart and his ability to forgive Suarez for his mistakes.

Hopefully, our boys can reward him with a win tmrw cos the naming of the new stand in his name will guarantee a huge beast to the fans and players to do well.

Thanks for the response ed. Kenny made a mistake and should not have said anything publically about the suarez situation, however surely when this happended the club, should have give a breifing or advised all figures in the public eye on how to manage the media regarding such a sensitive subject. despite the mistake Kennt made, i would argue that the club let him down not the other way around.

no one could doubt he has went into it with the best intentions. because that is all he has had since he came to the club.

it amazes me that some fans would still have suarez back. the man is one of, if not the best player i have seen in a reds shirt (im in my 20's) but the way he behaved at the club was shocking. and IMO hegot snacky during the internationals to force a move away from the club. absolute snake.

{Ed001's Note - you are spot on. He defo did it to get away as legal action had not worked. Little snake.}

I don't want Suarez back. His ship has sailed (with all the baggage that went with it) and it should remain that way.

Luckily he will never be back, I'm of the same opinion, he was fantastic as a player but I'd never want somebody like him in our shirt ever again.

He'll snap again at some point for Barca. It's just in him.

KK was made a bit of a scapegoat then really if they were so appalled at Suarez's actions why didn't they also sell him at the first opportunity . some will say we had a great season and Suarez was amazing but we still won f all.

Kenny Dalglish should never have been sacked. Our last manager to win a trophy. Case closed.
