How many times do you think we'll hear the phrase 'park the bus' before next Saturday?

Thing is, they won't do that next weekend. They'll come for our necks.

A lot less than after Saturday if the result don’t go our way.

They'll attack from the off, hoping for an early goal, then sit back and soak up the pressure.

If they get the early goal we'll have no chance.

Could really change our season if we beat them. I think if we don't score in the first twenty minutes it could get quite difficult. I think we are as good as them and we tend to raise our game against the top sides.

There are really no ways of reading into these types of games as to what may happen or not. IMO, I think Mou will not resist the notion to sit deep at least in the first 20 minutes to see how things shake down and then see what happens from there. It's who he is and what he does. In our situation right now, I would take a point and then move on from there vs Spurs who we generally do well against. Just my take.

Following bingo's comment. We all know what mourinho is like. I also see him settings the team up to sit deep and take our pressure in the early stages and maybe get a break for lukaku to jump on. I just hope our boys can handle him and with the way he is in form right now. What I think we need to do, is try to play freely but open the play and wait patiently for a gap, not go too early. But hopefully klopp will have a plan.

I hope so too, SI09.

United won't park the bus until they are at least 2 goals clear. With pace on the wings and Lukaku's conversion rate in the centre, why risk and open game when they will get multiple chances by keeping their defence tight? We have to be ready to expose the lack of pace in their CB's and our CB's have to be paying attention to their goal scoring threats which are not far from ours, and in much better form.
