Re the Klopp out brigade,

For those wanting Klopp out asking ‘how long we still need to wait for the EPL etc’, please explain who will come in to replace Klopp and deliver success overnight at Liverpool or even in the same period he has been at Anfield which is approaching 2 years.

I think this could turn out to be a very interesting discussion.

Would love for the thread to be pinned too LOL.

That is a very good point max my mate. It is the fast food culture that people born in the 80s or later have. We want everything right now! You have to give klopp a chance. We know he is building something, signings like keita show he is looking at the future. In the long run it is probably better that we didn't sign a cb and cm as klopp has definite targets. VVD and keita. He is waiting to get his man. If we had signed Gibson for example, then there is no space for Van Djike next summer. I think now that top four is our target. After missing out on vvd and keita. Next season we win the league with keita scoring 15 goals from midfield. We will definitely be signing a striker after coutinio goes.

Back to your point max, if you have a genuine suggestion to who should manage liverpool then fair enough, if not then you are a tabloid drone who thinks the answer to lfc's problem is to cut off its head.

Spot on, Max. Superred, almost fell off my chair with that "fast food culture" remark. Just Priceless!

On to your posts, mates. When BR spent virtually the whole 14/ 15 and part of 15/ 16 seasons screwing up on a consistent basis, I can remember people STILL making excuses for him and why he should be kept. This is after he had won nothing in over 3 seasons, got embarrassed by Dim Sherwood and Villa in the FA Cup semi final and the cherry on top, a 6-1 hiding at Stoke and finished a wonderful 6TH after finishing 2nd the season before. Clearly that was improvement in the eyes of many. But here many on here were, slating those of us who wanted him sacked look like fake fans who did not wanna get behind the manager. Clearly, the same rules don't apply to Klopp here.

But cos Klopp who tho has made mistakes and is struggling right now, succeeded in giving us hope when he took over with the EFL and CL final (and all the great games that came with that), he got us top 4 in his first full season and we are now in the CL proper, thanks to him, did not win the PL last season, now want him out cos we drew a few games and have lost 2 games out of 15 in all comps this season. OMG, the sky is falling!

To the Klopp out brigade: You want Klopp gone, have at it. Who will you get? Will you sack that person after he starts struggling in two seasons cos you wanted overnight success? Then what do you do then? Oh yeah, you sack him again. Yeah, keep up that nonsense and let me know when LFC will win the PL again doing that crap.

I think it's naive to just believe things will get better when we have no real sign of this. If we had weaknesses that we were improving on then yeah that's fair enough. But from what I've seen we aren't improving on our glaring weaknesses, they've been the same since Rodgers was manager (scoring goals but conceding constantly) . I'm hoping this changes of course, big Klopp fan, but if our run continues and we are out of the cup and the CL then you've got to wonder if Klopp is really our man!

And it's not like he's coating himself in glory with his illegal approaches to players, which btw would get an every day person sacked in a heartbeat. If you love the club that's got to rub you the wrong way.

with Coutinho, Can and you've got to believe there is interest for Mane, I don't see next year being an impressive year. Keita looks a good player but he's got another 10 men around him, he's not going to win the league on his own.

A big Klopp fan but got to have an open mind, it will all depend on the result of this season for me. let's hope we improve soon!

Your thread could be shut by another question which you would eventually ask anyone who pops up with a name
“. And why would he want to join Liverpool. ”

The fact you are still going behind names and not actually getting what people are concerned with. They have no problem with Klopp! They have a problem with a manger who has not improved greatly for the credit he is given for! Not they trust him to win the PL trophy!

Who would come? Who knows who would come? This club is still one of the hottest property in Europe! Pays a ransom for its manager and that include Klopp as well. Spend close to £50 mill on transfer fees every summer, why wouldn’t anyone come!

If you just want a name promise me you wouldn't ask further. Then Maximiliano Allegri! Head, Shoulder, brains, Neck and everything ahead of Klopp! Tactically one of the very best! I mean he is inside top 3 in Europe comfortably.
That’s for an experienced head, Now if you want a young man, go and pick one from Germany they would jump a chance to manage Liverpool! Leonardo Jardim is another fella!

There are many who would love to manage England’s most decorated club! We are not west hams or crystal palace! Klopp is not the last big name you would hear at Anfield!

Dean, I agree with you. However as a supporter, you are almost required to be an eternal optimist. In Istanbul where we were getting our heads hammered with no end in sight and no signs of improvement to speak of in the first half, our fans kept supporting and rendered a YNWA for the ages at half time. They believed in the team and so the team went for it and got it done. Klopp has made his mistakes and that much is well documented BUT we should not just throw the baby out with the bath water cos we have had 3 draws in the last 4 PL in the last 4 PL games with 7 games into the season. We should continue to support the team in the hope that things will change esp. cos it is still very early in the season. That's kind of the way it is, IMO.

If klopp goes its down to the people in charge to get the best replacement. After getting king Kenny back, with a lot of fans wishing his return I don't think they will take much notice of the fans after how that turned out.
In my opinion they should be scouting now for a suitable replacement. Give him a good seeing to and going over all the necessary details to find the right person.
Surly there is a manager that can play more than one style of football and not concede 50+ goals a season oh and not tap up players.

Dean just read your opinions after I had posted mine and you worded yours much better than I. We seem to have the same opinions on the subject but u put yours across way better than mine.

Allegri is in a one team League overall as Juve have all the money and win the Serie A every season so that is a fake misnomer. Will he cut it in the PL? No one knows, not even you as we saw Pep struggle mightily even with all the money on the planet in his first season and we still don't know if they will win it this season either. Same goes for Jardim.

The prob for you Harry? Everything is always black and white with you which makes your points lack substance and nuance as no grey areas exist for you. New flash: Sports esp. footie, is not an exact science which is why we love it. Pep was good at Bayern so when he left, they got Ancelotti so they should still be good now, right? Where is Ancelotti now? Sacked and Bayern have become the laughing stock of the Bundesliga, their own foot stool. See how that works? BUT for you all things should remain equal and you know very well they never or rarely ever are. That is the dishonesty that is always sensed in your posts cos you seem to do that to people and players you inherently don't like such as Klopp, Hendo and so on.
