Very poor. Does anybody know if Mane was brought off because he was injured? If not don't understand why Firmino wasn't brought off instead. Moreno is 10 times the player when he can just concentrate on going forward.

Agreed Fowler. Looks knackered and unconfident. Me and ed01 have talked about him before but I stand by my comment that he is not, nor ever will be, a striker. Why he stayed on instead of mane is simply beyond me. That said we should have won that by a landslide and some of those players need to take a long hard look at themselves for not taking chances. I'm sick of watching the same game over and over.

Sorry Irish but if your played as a striker you need to put chances away he doesn't. He runs and presses but fluffs goal scoring opportunities.

Decent result on paper to go away to Russia and come back with anything.

However with how poor they were on the night, it is hard not to be disappointed. Salah, Sturridge and Firmino all had a couple of chances each to win it but their keepers were both on it tonight.

I love klopp but again wrong substitution when he took mane off firmino was ineffective. Midfield did better at shutting up shop compared to usual I thought Jt should have been about 10 mins added time with the amount of time wasting (not to say we would have scored) not questioning you ed but did they not win the last Russian league? Was it close run?

I'd play mane upfront, cou left, robbo in the ten and salah on the right.

Think mane is our best finisher and has everything to make a brilliant striker. Similar to how auba made the switch from rw to striker.

Spartak are the champions of Russia so not sure why everyone is having a melt down! Decent team and we did well but did not take our chances. Once our decision making improves i am sure the results will follow.
