Yeah 25, and if he had given a foul for their first goal it may have been a different result too. It is what it is.

{Ed025's Note - i will have that dave, but you cant just blame the ref when things go against you mate, especially when he helped you big time on the blatant pen mate..

Hi Ed. Everyone knows we are light in defence but The ref and linesman had a poor game today,

There was a clear foul on Migs for their goal?

Do you rate Vardy Ed?
He chases down every thing and is a finisher, I know he's 30 but I think he'd suit our style.

{Ed025's Note - hes effective der and puts in a shift, not the most skillful but would add a lot of what you are missing mate..heart..

Let's just enjoy the win mate cause it could have been very different.

{Ed025's Note - very much so barry..

Blaming the ref for what? We won. Handball must be intentional. it's in the rules ed. but I think that's just deflecting away his performance. Human error is indiscriminate, he wasn't. It was a terrible performance that would have been seen as sour grapes had we not won.
It's interesting you chose to highlight that decision rather than for some of the others?

{Ed025's Note - im just pointing out that maybe the performance was not all the refs fault sirshanks, some things go for you and some against but in the end blaming the ref just sounds like sour grapes mate..

Here comes the "refs are against us brigade". Can blatant handball. Swings and roundabouts.

{Ed025's Note - very much so stand..

Agreed 25. Thought the ref was crap in general. Just glad we got the 3 points. Blues win too. Makes Saturday night better eh? 👍.

{Ed025's Note - a win is a win dave which ever way you cut it mate, and we will take that all day long..

Can's handball wasn't a pen 😂 Rule states your arm must be in an unnatural position or be moved towards the ball; essentially it must be intentional. Can was stooping low to head the ball so he clearly wasn't trying to use his arm, which was in a completely natural position close to his side. If you give hand ball for that, players will just start running up to the edge of the box and scooping it up onto the defenders arm deliberately to get a pen. You and Stand are just deflecting away from the refs poor game to try and make us look bitter in my opinion. If Everton or United had a pen conceded for that, you would (rightly) be outraged.

The ref had an awful game. Worst I've ever seen possibly. Their first goal was a dive, and a double foul and Vardy, Morgan, Maguire and Ndidi should all have seen red cards for a plethora of cynical fouls, dives, late tackles, shirt pulling. I have no idea how Leicester have got away with what they have today. It was a disgrace to the game.

The penalty they got was correct, but Mignolet has actually got some of the ball at least despite pulling out to try and avoid a massive impact, unlike Vardy who deliberately ran into Mignolet and could've caused a serious injury had Mignolet gone in with his hands. We could've had another Cech-Hunt moment. Vardy wasn't even looking at the ball or else it could be forgiven as an accidental collision. I liked Vardy before that game, but now i have nothing but hatred for him. Mignolet should not have bottled it though. He should've gone straight through the ball, kicked Vardy up in the air on the follow through and the ref wouldn't have had a decision to make. Ultimately, Mignolet didn't have the ball under control and did impede Vardy. It is one that you say has been bought by the striker, but that it has to be given.

Taylor should be banned for that performance though. I have never called for that before as you can forgive 1 or 2 mistakes. His mistakes weren't all in Leicesters favour either. We had a couple that we got away with (for example Chamberlain should clearly have been booked for albeit accidentally kicking their man in the chest late on; which was shocking to go unpunished after the recent weeks and the need for consistency), but Leicester had some much more vital ones go their way.

No argument though that Mignolet was horrible excluding the penalty save. The ref didn't force him to palm the shot straight to Vardy, or to pull out of the tackle for the penalty. That was all his making. At least he saved the pen i guess 🙄.

bottom line is that we won. good teams overcome bad officiating. typically it all evens out in the end. their penalty was fair, mignolet came up big for their penalty, we should have had one but didn't, it evened out.

The ref was shocking today. He had a nightmare.

Anthony Taylor was abysmal today. Sour grapes? Why, because we won. Vardy engineered the foul that led to the free-kick, Mignolet was blocked off by Okazaki, Matip was manhandled by Morgan, and the ball went out for a corner, technically, Mignolet got the ball as well.

Liverpool are atrocious defensively but that doesn't excuse Taylor's performance and he is only one among a poor bunch of referees in the EPL.
