Question for ed one.

Everytime coutinho gets an injury he seems to take an age to recover from it. iv'e noticed some players need a cameo followed by an hour in the next game then seem to be upto speed, but with couts he needs 6 games to get back into stride.

my question is, is this just how his body copes or is it because his style of play requires him to be at a hundred percent to affect a game. a half fit mane still looks dangerous but a half fit couts looks out of the game.

cheers.

{Ed001's Note - Mane's style is more physical than technical, though he has good technique, it is pace and movement that makes him so dangerous. That is much quicker to come back after a lay off. It is the tight control and twists and turns, because they are about timing as much as anything, that take time to come back.

Though, having said that, every player is different, so they wouldn't get back to their best at the same rate regardless. I remember Michael Owen once saying it took him a run of games to feel he was anywhere near the top of his game, whereas someone like Fowler could just come straight back and start scoring.}

He came into full flow yesterday in the first half and Leicester had no clue to stop him! He is so vital!

Coutinho comes off they see there's no threat and bring on an attacking plsyer. His substitution changed the game.

whilst I love coutinho, watching him position himself to shoot off his right gets a bit boring.
If was any oppositons club's owner I would sack the manager and any related coach if they let coutinho score cutting in onto his right foot.
has to be the most obvious move in world football today.
