Just wanted to say I feel a huge amount of sympathy for Oxlade chamberlain after his, let's just say, forgettable full debut. I can only begin to imagine the physical and psychological stresses he must have endured having worn socks that were too tight. As soon as that elastic acted like a tourniquet and restricted blood flow he was in very real danger on developing shin oedema and cankles! Now I know you can probably all imagine the physical discomfort but just for one moment imagine the mental trauma that probably plagued his entire performance that at full time in the changing room he would have to expose his clodhopper feet to the team thus being open to widespread ridicule. Genuinely feel for the guy.

Absolutely right saying cut him some slack. He's still very young he's quick and he's English. People need to give him time he will develop into a very good player. If people think he's not up to scratch y where arsenal throwing money at him to stay, y did Chelsea put a bid in for him people need to get a grip and stop being negative.

Chelsea only wanted him to up their English contingent and to play right wing back. Make no bones about it. He’d not get in their team ahead of Hazard, Willian or Pedro and he’d certainly not get any games in centre midfield for Chelsea.
