Hi Eds,
haven't seen the game today but I feel we need to sign a goalie and at least one CB. Pity we didn't get VVD this summer. Might have made a big difference. cheers Eds. Hope to start a long winning streak srarting next game.

I think every one acknowledges we have cb issues. I also think karius needs to be given the shirt permanently and by next summer we'll know if we need a new keeper or not.

How I see it is we only play one way, teams like Burnley we struggle against because our system finds it hard to beat but we don't change anything.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Who from liverpools back 4 would get into the top 6 teams. klopp knew this his knowledge of buying defenders has goto be questioned. klavan a crap team international. it makes me sick to see klopp ignoreing centrebacks.

For me the issue isn't that a near 32 year old Estonian CB bought as cover isn't good enough, it's that the first two choices are Matip and Lovren. Lovren is prone to completely forgetting how to play football and Matip is absolutely useless at the physical side of being a CB in the Premiere League (as well as being a bit lazy) .

Deano, clearly you want to moan so go ahead. I would caution that saying Klopp ignored the CB position is patently false.

Centre backs and especially a top class goalkeeper were desperately needed.

Most of the effort went into looking at forwards/ midfielders.

Yuri, and who would we have signed at top CB esp. if Pep with all his money could not sign the one he wanted? Also, what top class GK would we have signed keeping in mind that Courtois, DDG, Lloris, Oblak, Navas, Leno, Neuer etc. are all taken? I'll wait.
