What the hell happened in the second half?

We could have been 3/ 4 up at half time, but looked shocking in the second half. Seville must really be Klopp's bogey team.

We just couldn't get the ball off them for long periods of the second half, and it was an absolute given that they would equalize.

We gave away our normal average of 2 goals per game.

I do worry now before any game no matter who we play. Burnley on Saturday and who really thinks we will come out with 3 points.

I must say Klopp didn't look like he knew what to do once they had equalized.

So we are the only English team to not win their first group match.

I am very disappointed with the result to night.

In the end they deserved their point.

To me it looked like it always does when things don't go to plan. We panic big time and the football brain goes out of the window. One of my biggest gripes is the time it takes Klopp to make substitutions. What did he really think Sturridge could do in 8 mins, and Ox with 3 mins on the pitch. I am sorry to say this, but he is not the manager I thought he was going to be.

At 2-1 up we should have managed the game much better.
You can't go gung ho all the time, especially with our defence.
Still think we'll win the group though .

Spot on, OP. Liver, there was NO way of managing that game nbetter with a team like Seville. They are very experienced and knew that provided we kept missing chances and there was only one goal in it, they would get their oppos. Had we dropped deep by the 70th minute, they would have come on to us and since we are crap under pressure, the goal would have come either way as they were passing out of our press several times.

In the CL when you have a team like Seville on the rack, you destroy them and we should have been 4-1 up at half time, Lovren error or not. That was not the case. There is where we screwed up.

Certainly not the manager we all thought. Overhyped and average manager. Not the standard Liverpool aspire! 18 months and we still continue to complain about the same things. Klopp is just an arrogant and overhyped coach!
