Question for Ed001, read that we are going to appeal to reduce the ban on mane. My question is, seeing that there were similar challenges made in two other games, where in one a yellow card was shown and in the other one no card was given, would that help us in getting the ban reduced?
Would the club point to the other two incidences to support their claims of a reduced ban?

Hi Ed001,i read the appeal goes through today, do you know roughly what time we can expect a decision, have a bad feeling may get extra game, I personally feel it was 50/ 50 but think it is a ridiculous decision to appeal it, should have just moved on.

I think it is worth pursuing though. There was zero malice, mane went for the ball and looked genuinely distraught at ederson's injury. I know I'm contradicting myself but I think it was a red card but because of the circumstances a three match ban seems harsh.

Do the club use solicitors to launch the appeal? Or is it handled by the management? If it is solicitors, then they must see an angle.

It does worry me though that we could be without our top scorer against our biggest rival, who are looking good but definitely beatable. But I think the appeal has legs.

Why didn't klopp spend more time and effort appealing to the board to get central defenders in rather trying to over turn a certain ban. it was dangerous.
