I can't remember the last time we came back from an international break and kept our form from before the break. It always seems to ruin our momentum. City are extremely powerful this season and i knew what would happen as soon as mane saw that red card. We have to try and scrap that game and move on.

Mark, you say you knew what would happen as soon as Mane got the red. I knew what would happen when I saw the team sheet with that back 4 that Klopp put out. 2 fullbacks that can't defend, and the worse CB in the EPL. Klopp has had over 2 years and he is no nearer to getting a decent defence than Rogers did. He is either blind or incapable of knowing how to put a defence together that can actually defend. If that is the case, I can't see him suddenly getting it right. I am fed up of hearing we will learn from our mistakes, because we haven't. It's the same old same old that I have seen for too many years now, with nothing changing.

They had the same break we did guys.

I always try to look for a positive and I admit it is near impossible today but.

We showed some courage. Yrs the heads dropped after three nut the reason we got so heavily slammed is because we still tried to mount attacks after losing mane and the second goal. We could have tried to consolidate and kept it at 1 0 then 2 0 but we still tried to attack. That might of been wrong in hindsight but 5 0 1 0 it's still three points dropped. Also our next premiership opponent might get a tad complacent thinking we are not all that and be shocked. I can't wait for city to come to anfield coz the boys will have something to prove.

We were fine, should of been 2 up at least when they scored. Don't like how we downed tools at 10 men but if mane had stayed on pitch we wouldn't of won that game.
