A brother sent me a section of an article he read earlier I think it sum's things up perfectly. " There was no fight, no desire and no will to give it a go and as a dedicated Liverpool fan it was torture to watch the last 35 minutes of that game. Never before have I seen such a blatant case of surrender when it comes to Liverpool. Where was the passion, Where was the anger, Where was the pride, Where was that " We are Liverpool ". From what I seen today we were nowhere to be found and we were lost in Manchester. The blame has to lie somewhere and in my opinion it was Jurgen Klopp that created the 5 - 0 headline. With a bit of umph and gumption, we might have crawled back into that game today and grabbed a goal or two to get a result. We still might have lost 2-0 or 2-1 but to do nothing led to a 5-0 hammering that will strain the memories for quite a while. Maybe it's totally wrong and out of order, but the reaction of the team and the manager after red card, made us out to be a one man team. If we are going to depend on one player well then we are in trouble for the rest of the season.

Look I hated watching that 2nd half, and I don't deny that I wanted to see a lot more fight. I would have been okay going down to 9 if we had shown some fight.

But I think we all need to settle down. Two down and down to ten the game was over. And I think the team were probably very flat after what happened. But whatever way you look at it, I kinda think that Juergen started looking at Wednesday from half time. He gave up the game as gone, probably rightly, and brought off Salah, and then Giji and Roberto probably to rest them ahead of Wednesday. As fans we probably hate it, because we want the team to fight and fight for each game, but I figure Juergen has to look st things a lot more coldly than we do, and he knew the race was run and he had to look ahead to Sevilla!

So I hated that second half, but dispassionately Juergen probably made the right call from a coldly practical viewpoint whether we as fans like it or not!

Bad day at the office, but let's take the roof of on Wednesday night!
