The most disappointing aspect today was how heads sunk after going a man down. The old saying "when the going gets tough, the tough get going". Well, we had no tough men out there today. No leader. No one to rally their teamates. We needed a seige mentality but it was sadly lacking.

Other teams will go down to 10 men against City but they won't concede 4 goals.

But it was only the 4th game of the season so we still have a long season and 3 cup competitions to look forward to. Hopefully, at the end of the season, well look back at this result and see it a watershed moment that strengthened the teams mentality.

{Ed002's Note - I notice the Liverpool fans often quote old clichés like "when the going gets tough, the tough get going", "he’s got two good feet and "take the bull by the horns". Is this something peculiar to Merseyside or do the fans of other sides do it as well?}

Embarrassing.

{Ed002's Note - It is like the wheel is turning but the hamster is dead.}

Ed002, you're enjoying yourself too much with the cliche's. it's hilarious.
